That is why it’s hard to convict the higher ups who order the crimes, not just the low level henchman. The henchman get their hands dirty, but if caught the boss just says “what? I had NO IDEA my henchman was committing crimes…that benefit only me.”
So they get the henchman to testify, saying the boss ordered it, and the boss’ lawyer says “You can’t trust that guy….he is a convicted crime henchman!!”
But that doesn’t fool everyone….

I think that the sickness is too far gone for many, there is obviously a bias that runs very deep. It has to be said though, that IF the jury find him guilty after this, some Dems will at least see the trial for what it is. Alternatively a win under the circumstances will be a formidable thing. He wins both ways.
