I have never heard this song sound better. Vince certainly has a magnificent voice and Steele guitar is surely singing. Hats off to Mr. Franklin
Paul was a student of my grandmother. I see and hear him play and all I remember is me and her sitting in her basement in Allen Park playing this exactly how Paul does. And his motions are exactly how my grandmother was when she played steel.
Vince Gill is one of the greatest singers I've ever heard.
Besides buck Owens, I 've never heard this song done any better.
As a musician myself, Vince is not only a Fabulous Guitar player, but a great Singer as well.
God Bless since Gill & his family.
He does very good jobs
There it is! Oh Man! Vine Gill and Paul Franklin on a Buck Owens classic. That's pure classic country. If you like this check out their "Bakersfield" CD. And Dawn Sears, the most underrated female vocalist in country music. We miss you Dawn.
People don't re6 a lof good Country music came out of California before the Illuminati freaks took over.
Man, that sounds so damn good! Pull out the jug! Watch out, Sally!
Awesome talents these two possess --- just beautiful -- what Paul does is amazing --- what great " ears " --- both oooooooze taste ! can listen over and over .
Sublime
That just massaged my ears from the inside out. The best pedal playing I've heard in years. Vince nails this.
you have not heard Tom Brumley then playing this in the 60's
what a steel lead!! Paul IS smooth and knows that instrument inside and out ... worth going the distance to see them live ... i've seen them twice w/Dawn Sears
I thought Paul was gonna slide that bar off the neck. Great picking.
Vince sure can sing those cryin' steel songs.....awesome.
It doesn't get much better than Vince Gill and Paul Franklin! Clearly Paul is one of the greatest steel players we've ever heard...
Probably one of the greatest moments of steel guitar --- incredible backup and solo steel ever --- i challenge anyone to dispute !
The great Vince Gill, the beautiful Dawn Sears both in talent and personality backed by members of an elite country band. Thanks for sharin.
Oh you got that right Ron what a man I love Vince .. and Dawn what a loss to great Traditional Country music there will never be another like her.. I adore this woman's music and have cried a bucket the last few days so so sad that we have lost this beautiful Lady my condolences to Kenny and Family :(
Wow - what a great job - one of my favorite singers, guitar players and love to see him performing anytime!!!
Wish everybody would shut up and just leave Franklin to get that steel screaming.
Evil Music industry.
