Working in retail/food will always be harder than streaming. If you disagree you have never worked in retail or food
I think the Dark Souls argument might have been one of the most terminally-online discussions had on this platform. Video game skills aren’t analogous to real-world skills needed to work a minimum wage job due to the fact that video game skills are utterly useless when compared to real-world skills. The best gamer in the world contributes 10x less than the average entry-level position employee.
I think destiny was joking tbf
there are a lot of entry level positions that are really useless at many companies. some i've worked in. but point accepted.
100% agree, i was flabbergasted when destiny said that... i feel like that literally hurt my IQ, i lost 20 points of respect for destiny from that
I think it was more of an analogy; Dark Souls is “difficult” in the sense that you have to have a certain level of skill and practice in order to properly engage with it. Once you have that skill and practice it becomes manageable and enjoyable and there’s a tangible relationship between your ability and the payoff. Compare that to playing a mobile game that requires no “skill” but a ton of grinding. It’s “easier” to play but is less rewarding and more soul destroying. You can’t “get better” at a mobile game because you’re not rewarded for the time you invest into it. Similarly, some jobs are “difficult” in that they require a certain level of talent and knowledge whereas some jobs are “difficult” because they require endurance to survive the monotony.
Also just to mention, he id literally comparing a hobby to a shitty job...
I highly doubt anyone gets into a shitty minimum wage job for fun or for the challenge...
The analogy is completely incoherrent.
Not a destiny fan, but even i was surprised by the level of idiocy that just left his mouth there....
i love how as soon as boogie spoke, papa gut was pissed off
Why the fuck is sam pepper here 💀
Doesn't question foodshops being there 😂😂
Boogie seems to be overweight
Just a smidgen
He could lose a pound or two.
Water weight
Looking into this
Perhaps
This whole panel is plain white bread.
Ain't it always?
Astute observation there white person.
Boogie can't even command respect from himself.
He'll be bowing to his reflection in the mirror for that while the reflection's also bowing at him asking the same thing
I feel like boogie thinks people will care when he dies. He's gonna be forgotten about in a week at most
i mean you’re wrong but that’s okay. the internet doesn’t forget legends even if they fall out of the legend status. i get what you’re saying that he is tarnished. he is a quarter of the man he used to be. he is bad he’s all these things but people aren’t just gonna forget about him. sorry if that for some reason makes you upset little boy
@@man.itz.ashton real life legends get forgotten too. You're wrong if you think boogie of all people is gonna leave a lasting legacy. Better creators than him have died and have been forgotten.
@@MayorMercury i don’t think kids will be studying him in history class bro. you said something objectively wrong; that “he would be forgotten in a week.”
@@man.itz.ashton "legend" doing a lot of heavy lifting lol. He's a loser on the internet. Only terminally online dorks know who he is.
@@man.itz.ashton Whatever. Keep simping
As someone who worked in a cubicle for 5 years and have worked construction for 15…I know for sure there’s fatigue in both. It may be a different kind of fatigue but that doesn’t make it less relevant.
the fact boogie was brought on this panel just to be a punching bag has me in tears
Imagine trying to make out as if streaming for a living is hard? 😂
I love how every time Boogie speaks, Papa's instinctive reaction is just "Shut up!"
It’s the only thing that would improve Boogie’s position.
This panel screams brain rot
This beginning convo is stupid. Yes, online content creation CAN be difficult, but the difficulties are different than the standard 9-5 (Both of which have multiple variables). Generally, being a content creator is less difficult and more enjoyable than your standard job. We all know this is true because I don’t see content creators leaving their platforms in droves to work standard 9-5 jobs lol.
The only argument in favor of streaming being hard that I can think of is its harder to be a "successful" streamer. If success means making enough money to pay your bills. 95% or more twitch streamers aren't getting more than 10 live viewers
@@TheMasterblah Yeah, that’s true. Starting content creators are in a different category than established ones. Plus, they’re also working a 9-5 assuming they’re not kids or aren’t a NEET.
thank you for this comment. i have no idea why the point continues to be debated?
and let's be real - as soon as you're in a position to retire into a life of luxury tomorrow, why should anyone care anyway?
TL;DR there’s no such thing as a %100 easy job.
@@owenleal isn't it just false that "no one is streaming to pay the bills"? Obviously streamers that make enough money to quit their regular jobs need to stream to pay the bills. I could reframe my thought process and say "someone that makes streaming their job is equivalent to a regular job" but at that point a job is a job is a job
Sam Pepper has a VERY sketchy past, it’s worth looking into, his content sexually harassing random people on the street is how he initially gained online popularity
They were paid actors?
didn’t he also pull the “prank” on his friends were he pretended to kidnap them and then kill one in front of the other
@@mollymyers4173 staged as well
@@nickescobar6786 nah, they tried to bring charges against him... thats why he ran , to avoid the law
@@mollymyers4173 yeah but im about 99% sure they were all in on it
I’m shocked they got boogie on the panel. Also that it took him less than 5 minutes to start the victim complex
listening to a whole panel of streamers debate weather or not dark souls is harder than working a job, made me honestly want to die 😂
"Mushrooms are the roseta stone and make you god" -Demonic Adderall addicted Clout Fiends
I use to work at a gas station company. I hated going into work the pay and the area was in a bad area. I noticied working there thay the store manager would often recommend people he didnt like for promotions just to get them out of his store and they become an other stores problem. The people who were good at the job he kept there so he can get bigger bonus at the end of every month from The profit share
I used to wash dishes at a retirement center, was tired of working in kitchens stated working part time in maintenance. The chef actively discouraged the other department from putting "illusions of grandeur" in my head. I put my two weeks in and the big boss was like "If I offer you a position in maintenance, will you stay?" I was pissed.
Love papa takes, but his psychedelic hate is so annoying😭there is valid research (not a singular study) that shows certain psychedelics have the capacity for vastly positive impacts. In my anecdotal experience, mushrooms are a wonder and have even cured a co-workers meth addiction after a particularly large dose.
Ngl these are the worst people 😭
Every day I say I don't want to go to my line cook job but you know what I end up doing everyday? I go to that job and I do what I need to. Why? Because it my only source of income and I haven't found a better job yet. Streaming would be so much more enjoyable and freeing, but it's not my reality and it's not most people's realities. I'm tired of this conversation because streaming is so much easier than any minimum wage or blue collar job heck even office jobs are harder that streaming.
That’s why most successful streamers don’t try to compare what they do to a regular 9 to 5
I need to see Papa Gut and Boogie on a Kick or Keep episode.
All of these people seem so terminally online.
doesnt having cancer usually kill the person or require them to hospitalize for a long time?
darksouls is harder, sure difficulty wise. it is way less stressful though
People come home from their jobs to play dark souls to unwind from the stress of their job
@@Ryce003 that's what I'm saying 😂 who tf is hopping off dark souls and being like "man that was so stressful can't wait to unwind at my 12 hour shift at McDonald's"
Ok, from everything I've heard about the topic is that people are just purpose fully conflating hard as in difficult as in requiring skill and hard as in mentally tiring and hard as in physically exhausting and they are simply unwilling or unable to differentiate those concepts, even though they are separated.
Only do drugs if you're cool.
I was listening to this while driving home from work and as I was going through McDonald’s drive through you said “at least you don’t work at McDonald’s “ 😅😅😅
boogie is a prime example of a level 1 on brittany's scale
This is peak debate brain rot lol
1:11:45 thats bc hormones are permanent, lots of drugs, if done responsibly, arent gonna permanently affect u
Yeah, I smoke and do shrooms every now and again and have had almost strictly good experiences with weed and only good ones with shrooms
The whole drug topic gets kinda annoying, I get recommending its better to not try to use drugs but at the same time you're going to be needing them more frequently the older you get. There doesn't need to be such a negative aura around the idea of drugs. Mfs with diabetes need drugs. (I get it the main point were drugs that effect you mental state lol)
Also drugs like shrooms and coke or something isnt remotely close to hormones on how they would effect you, Destiny has a more agreeable point in my eyes for do research and know dosage. You can ask doctors on info and do research, you don't need to take some random stoners word for it. Papa gotta micro dose and actually see what they are saying cause you're hearing them but have no actual feeling/ understanding of what they mean. Sams an idiot but he wasn't off on shrooms and how they change your thought process. There is more research coming out and the drugs you grew up being afraid of are turning out to not be as bad ass people were pushing, like weed or shrooms. Just saying some people have prescriptions, the drug is meant to help them.
No, working McDonald's was harder than when i was pouring slabs 12 hrs a day.
The worst part of this was Turkey Tom's haircut. The man's avatar has shaggy hair, reflect your avatar, damn it.
I have worked jobs across industries. Retail, fast food, truck driving, finance, higher ed, nonprofit, babysitting, government, etc. Personally, I can't see myself streaming or YouTubing. Maybe planned vids but comments online would get on my last nerves. So i think they have different difficulties but the main thing about "streaming" vs a 9-5 is, you're self employed. You make the decision to work or not. Self employment can be more difficult because if you dont put out, if you dont wake up, if you dont do anything, (focus with me, we arent talking about people who make money off random investments), you wont get paid. You can show up to a 9-5 or whatever, be a shit bird but still get paid. So do i think streaming is harder than a 9-5? Work wise? No. Do i think it's hard based off of the principle, yes. But i will never feel sorry for a Hasan or rich asses like him.
Dude if you think this episode of Kick or Keep had funny characters who are content machines, You need to check out any episode with WES in it he’s hilarious!
The episode with Wes and the one girl he had a picture of I think it was #2 was probably a top 10 video of all time to make me laugh
@@youngmahalo9406 Oh shit I forgot about that that was fucking hilarious😂
The one with Wes, Slicker and Stardust was incredible
“Stardust isn’t fat, she’s built like a wife”
@@thegrimeyhole go to #2 and star at 1:15:30 was my favorite wes clip of all time
Just a point of advice if you ever do a bunch of shrooms and you start feeling down don't then do a bunch of blow to get back up it's a bad mix
yup, i coulda told you that one, haha you'll be ok, id say quit the blow, or keep it to one night a week tops
if your feelin down on shrooms, go outside, listen to music you love, take a warm bath, do some art, that kinda stuff helps, or watch planet earth, that ish was my jam
Bro I have no idea who these people are but boogie and I don’t care about them but your voice is so nice and your attitude is just entertaining that I stuck around for 2 hours, good job.
None of these people know ANYTHING about drugs and if that guy was "diagnosed" by a medical professional as a "sociopath," then I'm the King of England. What a waste of time listening to these people talk about stuff they have no idea about for 30+ minutes.
I learned a long time ago there is a huge distinction between difficulty and simplicity. Something can be difficult and really simple (e.g. lifting something heavy) or complex and easy (e.g. certain types of math, musical skill for a musician who practices, etc.).
So something can very simple AND difficult, or something can be complex AND easy. Or both, or neither.
Bro, Tom is not having any of it and im 100% here for it
I will say while I agree streaming is the easiest job in the world, I’m not willing to do it lol
Not sure if this is a dumb question but what's the game being played?
Streaming is socially draining but the thing is that you can control how much and when you can work. With a 9-5 youre locked in with little to no flexibilty
Edit: no when it comes to Boogie thats just a whole nother can of worms
Yeah with streaming you have control over when you “work” don’t feel like streaming in the morning? That’s fine stream at night. You don’t feel like streaming today? That’s fine stream tomorrow. You don’t have that flexibility with a normal 9-5
Anybody notice that boogie is kinda... big? Or is it just me
Dark Souls is easy. You can just stand there in game and do nothing and no one will come up and take the game away from you and tell you you’re terminated.
what's the channel name of these panels with boogie in them, cause I want to use them as background noise
Worst take I’ve ever heard out of papa gut, comparing mushrooms to hormone therapy for trans people 😭
the two british dudes sound exactly the same lmao
It’s so mean to say but it’s so funny how annoyed you get at Boogie
I would kinda love a Costco video
I'm honestly so fucking sick of Boogie 😂 I dont wish him no harm or anything but honestly just wish he'd just retire. He's just not capable of doing what he needs to do, he's just stuck in an endless cycle and will never change, and now everyone's wise to it. His only relevancy now is just drama, just give up dude seriously.
When will we see papa on kick or keep!?
Diamond Dallas Page was helping him workout
Did you say, eat your cat?
Rock and Stone!
Saying Destiny "doesn't believe" what he was saying about psychedelic drugs, because he has a different opinion on hormones for Trans people, was weird. You've been on a roll the last few days insisting destiny doesn't believe the things he says.
I can't take streamers complaining about their job, the one guy said "if you work on an oil rig you're a loser" how do you think you even have the ability to stream? Even though you bought the equipment from a company it took men much smarter than you to create it, they need to show some respect lol
It's 100% abusive to tell someone to stop biting you and they keep doing it even going through the work of coming up with a safe word just for them to disregard it. Whether it's true or not is the question.
Like I get that it's stupid to stay in that relationship but like she said it's such weird scenario and with the addition of love bombing I can see it happening.
Either way its physical assault. If it's true.
Not again...
*nibbles your toes* nom nom nom
@@missaliciaxxxx what? It's true. She's wrong about the George stuff but the main claims of her own story would be abusive if true.
@@Blueflyes it's the biggest non issue of life. Almost as bad as Ticklegate
@@missaliciaxxxx tickling doesn't leave bruises. Unlike Caiti's she made it clear she didn't like how hard it was plus they were in a relationship. It wasn't about it being sexual/romantic. Again they had an agreed safeword which was broken more than not, to have a safe word means the biting in the relationship was a genuine problem.
In any other case of a stranger biting someone you'd be saying it's assault idk why this is so different
❤️❤️❤️

Who still takes Steven Kenneth Bonnell II seriously in the year 2024 CE? His Dark Souls analogy was dogshit, and he has never had a take that wasn't a reflection of his rich terminally online perspective.
When people tell you they were good at their job “ they hated” that’s cap
What is that thing in the top left corner of their video lol
And why does it keep artificially changing its voice
I'm glad you stopped saying "Let's get this party started" in every video, I really disliked that for some reason.
My assumption was he did that as a cue to himself when he’s editing, so that he knows the point he needs to cut for the vod.
@@unintentional_smileWow, good reasoning! I didn't like him saying that because it felt like he was trying to establish some sort of catchphrase and went straight for the most boring and predictable option.
thats weird, sounds personal in my opinion, do you hate parties?
@@domm5715maybe he would prefer apartheid
