Spot on, thanks. I managed to get the lil hex hole turning by ramming a flat nosed screwdriver into it, as my torx and my hex drivers were too far for the hole. Took quite a few turns but the block popped out in the end. Installation was the reverse of exstallation!
Hi and thanks for the tutorial, I managed to do it in under 30mins. I have a bigger problem, rear barn door, d/side whole lock mechanism replacement...please, please.
do you have a video of replacing the rear door barrel? mine has fell loose and all came off includingh the handle. im guessing the rertaining clip has com off?
There are some differences between handles. The 08 and 14 expert/dispatch/scudo are slightly different and not inter changeable. Firtsly it is torx 20 screwdriver you need and you need to turn a good few times before the small section of the handle comes loose. Secondly the 014 model has a different profile from an 08 and this is possibly where Andrew Morell below is struggling. The 08 has a slightly chunkier front section and it is difficult to get it to slide in, as shown on the video.
I’ve just changed the lock itself, and cannot get the cable hooked to the inside of this handle. I’d love to know how to do it please. I’ve got the cable attached to the inside handle, and that works, but I’m stumped on the outer handle
Hi mate, I have Peugeot e7 taxi, left customer door is not closing, common fault, can you recommend any garage or how I can fix this? I’m based on Edinburgh. Much appreciated mate 👍🏽
Hi atif best I can say would be it’s the door lock mechanism pal, will set u back around £30-£40 on eBay, have to be very specific so don’t be afraid to forward your details before confirming your order, once it’s arrived phone up a few places locally to yourself & compare quotes for replacing it bud, hope this helps 👍🏼
Well done Scotty... Fixed my van and still got half my lunch break left...
Thanks so much for this, I was nearly away to a mechanic to have this done so you've saved me a few quid! Cheers mate!

Thanks buddy - I was about to drill the rivets from the interior handle.
Very useful. I've got a Fiat Scudo (same as the Expert) and the little trim bit is loose. Now I know how to tighten it.
