Ever since I moved to the Chesapeake Bay area I've been trying to catch flounder without much luck. Just shorties. But that's all anyone is catching right now so it's not me. I can't wait for the bigger ones to get more common. I just got 1/8; and 1/4 oz Texas eyes and the Core Tackle Hover Rig and Tush swim bait hooks. Hopefully they'll be good for the flounder. I guess I should try my chatterbaits more, they should be especially effective with a Gulp trailer. I bet a spinner bait with a Gulp trailer would be good too. Cool video. Flounder fishin' is an addiction and I got the fever.
bought a flounder pounder back in the day (80's) to this day have never used...boy something is wrong. but that water ya'll are in looks nice for sure.
Halibut is not a fish you want to catch by pole. The fact that a Halibut can get up to 800lbs. You shoot them in the head and sink it to the bottom and retrieve it later, otherwise if attempting to bring the 800lb beast onto your boat, it will flop flip thrash, demolish the deck the people and whatever else it comes in contact with. Flounder can get big as well Soul can be quite large.

That’s awesome, I love spinnerbaits but not sure which arms and blade would hold up to flounder/redfish alike. Any recommendations?
There's one called redfish Magic made by strike King im pretty sure. Red head with a white body following that gold blade gets them every time
