Dudu Fisher, the famous Israeli cantor, tells that on one Yom Kippur eve before performing in a Brooklyn shul he gets a phone call from his manager telling him he needs to come back to Israel immediately after Yom Kippur because he got the final audition for the israeli production of Les Misérables.
He got the part, ended up performing as Jean Valjean on Broadway. But back then, few hours after that phone call, in front of the open ark, he was singing Kol Nidre as the tunes of Les Mis played in his mind.

I followed Dudu Fisher all over Israel -- from the very 1st concert I heard him in; & then 3x's that he was in concert in Thousand Oaks! Oh, not to forget that he had a concert in Phoenix, for Pesach when I was there with my family. He is absolutely fantastic! Enjoy while watching this at home!!

There is another version of this mash-up but mixing Kol Nidre with "Who am I" instead of "One day more" where Dudu Fisher actually tells the story that appears in the begining of this video. It's an audio only file so I'm working on the video which will contain lyrics.
