1:03 made me laugh, i'd recommend steering clear from this sort of imagery if scaring the audience is in your interests, also try not make your jumpscares cheap.
Heyhey i would maybe keep things a little more mysterious rather than explaining its from a different universe outright, it makes for a more interestinf story and scarier when you dont know all the details
