You know, when you want a Fireblade but have another 160K lying around...honestly, this is a rich man's toy, and even a liter bike is overkill for the streets (yeah, torque aside, a 600 is more than enough for most street riders).
As special as this bike is and how hyped it was, the performance of this bike stock is such a disappointment, The Ducati superleggera and the bmw s1000hp4 stock blow this out of the water for less than half the price
What are you comparing the Race kit version or the stock version because theres a big difference the HP4 is heavier and makes less HP than the Race Kit RCV and the ducati is almost Identical in terms of weight and HP
Never. The fireblade is a superbike with a street bias. Honda makes them soft. They plan on an RC variant like when they had the RC51, RC30, RC45 back in the day. That should be around 50k.
@@sivvinod3187 What didn't age well? The fireblade was certainly a bike with a street bias. Instead they decided to listen to consumers who wanted a harder faster sport bike and provided it. And now people are bitching about that too. Just goes to show people won't be happy no matter what they get.
@@d1sturb3d119 honestly, I love the new blade. It's everything people wanted in a Japanese litre bike. If it had a ducati or BMW logo on it, people would automatically love it.
It'd be dope if Honda would make a sport VFR instead of just touring bikes a VFR1000R or VFR800R cause I've got a VFR800Fi VTEC and it's amazing and imagining it with a more sport focus would be amazing
no. The engine is an underpowered the real one. If Honda put the full specs on this bike I have no doubt Team like Ducati and Yamaha would buy it for the secrets.
Why is it so expensive? The Ducati Desmosedici RR is pretty much the same concept as this but it didn't cost that much. It was like a third of the Honda's price.
Used to think the same. It was either the economies of scale had a factor of the overpriced replica because as we know, 1500 D16RR's were made, while the RC213VS was 250@300. Other source say 400. Hope you get my point. Or.. it might of been riders endorsement. Honda had Marquez, Pedrosa & Hayden do all the selling.
The Desmo makes shit power, 160 to the wheel, was never the same as their GP bike and was homologated for road use. Meaning it was compromised from the start. This is a GP bike with lights and takes HRC engineers a month to build. Obviously with that much time and effort going into a handbuilt machine the price will climb.
For a prototype bike actually this is very cheap. Because the real ones cost millions. And for a factory team, Ducati is a clown on MotoGP. fim has strip most of HRC powers and Desmosedici still cant outclassed a RCV.
I think it’s hilarious when people in the comments talk about how these bikes are overkill dude anything that goes over the speed limit is overkill you knuckleheads why would I purchase something if it goes 0 to 60 maybe
375 lbs? INSANE power to weight ratio.
Excellent review! Your enthusiasm is truly infectious!
Looks like a good starter bike!
Meh. Bit more power would be nice, though.
MrStripeyDog , Yeah... for 180k+
Im worried about outgrowing it. This or Y2K or Lightning or H2R?
Nope you'll get bored due to the lack of power in one day. Yammie noob said a turbo Busa is best for starters.
@@haydengrant8327 turbo busa is overrated h2 stamp dat bike

Wow! How lucky are you to ride that amazing bike!
I'm so jealous right now! Amazing bike.
let's take it down some crappy roads!

80% the same!? I highly doubt that’s true.
It’s pretty for sure, but these seem to have faded away 5 or 6 years later.
The sad thing is it only produces 160 hp in the street legal trim, you need to remove the headlights and install the racekit to make 215 hp
but the race kit is only 12k so when compared to the 188k you paid for the bike that a bargain upgrade. and you still keep your headlights.

they didn't want you to scrub the tires in for them then?
Japan Flag in the middle🇯🇵.... #HondaForLife👍😎
I have just brought one 😁
Where did you bring it ?
hello , this machine is really insagne
What happened to your logo??
The little rich boy will buy one,GGGG

Because the Honda is allot more of a motorcycle !

Lowkey nicer than fireblade
What's the RPM on the bike?
Gl with the price
It's not a mass market motorcycle

80% the same? I doubt that so for 20% more it cost you $800K, ya..
The price really isn't that crazy for what it is. I'll take 2 😆
...a teasing share ;)

Thanks !!!
Love the Japanese flag in the paint
Italian brakes and wheels, Swedish suspensions. If you want the best, even Japan comes in Europe.
I dont know why honda use Brembo and ohlins in the first place. Because Nissin and Showa actually more than enough and still win.
addicz2 Because Brembo and Ohlins are the best, even the 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R uses Brembo brakes.
I dont care if Ninja has brembo and ohlins. Without them Honda still can achieve world championship titles.
addicz2 The MotoGP Honda RC213V used Ohlins suspensions and Brembo brakes, this is a fact, the rest are speculations.
67claudius Before them they use Showa and Nissin. And still winner.

Cazzo, italiana pure, vuol dire che una l'hanno venduta. Oppure è della Honda ed è solo un veicolo promozionale.

Mehhh... the Ducati will kill that
Mechanically amazing. Ugly as a sin
99.9% are going to end up in the scrap heap cause people think they can ride!!
nsr 750 haha
Goddamn
Shitty master cylinder and even worse m4 callipers. For a bike that costs a million, you'd think they'd put some better equipment than that.
