the reason is none of what people have listed. it's the community having a sudden boom in output quality, fanmade monsters and hype around every corner for this island. and how every monster is big and unique.
Anyone notice that auglers hands look like the blueprints from the life formula ethereal island skin? And that as the waves go on venshuns leg gets more damaged?
Vhenshun’s damaged leg was a sprite issue when it initially released, as it was supposed to have its back camera facing leg be damaged. It was not damaged before the fix in a later wave.
this is honestly my favorite island, so many cool monsters with awesome designs, makes my autism activate, like i just love some of these monsters, their sounds and design so much that i can't put into words or it feels too much that it's overwhelming
even though i am missing when it was the first wave and that it was so simple yet so good, it brings me so much joy to see how much the island has been expanded

Honestly I quite like some of the earlier versions of the song they tend to give a different one than the final version we ended up with but as usual the composition is always great
Ranking the Waves cause why not 7: Wave 2 6: Wave 6 5: Wave 7 4: Wave 3 3: Wave 4 2: Wave 5 1: Wave 1 My opnion, i also counted new tracks and new verses for the island as well as how impactful the monsters of said Wave were to the song as a whole
@@elkokadric1596 Cause Whail and Nitebear were quite underwhelming back then, Whail got better with Wave 5 and the extension of the song, while Nitebear would improve in wave 5 and 7 when the song extended, i am counting the Waves , not the monsters themselves.
I really like how the song gets better and longer with each wave! BigBlueBubble that's a good job if you keep it up and I'm also a big fan of MSMPokeGamer!!!

Good island. tbh, I feel like some monsters had more potential like X’rt. Also the quad only singing a little at the end might put some off from trying to get it. Amazing work nevertheless.
I mean I like the newest wave but the older waves just give more... Memories Plus the workshop is a good song but hearing older version of it really reminds me that older updates still exist by the way two monsters broke at some point

Wave 5 to 6 made me realize how good oogiddy was, it fills the little "empty" sections perfectly and makes it feel so much more complete
