At 19 he can’t go outside anymore, but between your channel and a screened in porch, he’s happy. My favorite part is when he looks behind the iPad to find the birds. 💕
Awww, our kitty just loves watching the big screen, but I’ll try the iPad, she might like that better! 19 is a blessed old age. I’ve had several to live to 19, can’t quite get past that age. Forever with them wouldn’t be long enough.
Yes! My baby does that too! She also looks up to the ceiling when she hears the chirping, lol. Sometimes she gets too excited & tries to grab the critters and I have to call time out, lol.
I found out two things, cat beans work the same way as finger pads on a touch screen and if you don't sit and watch with them your tablet cover will get chewed
So fortunate to have such lovely species of birds coming to the water feature. Funny how the female American Redstart was hopping around like on a hot tin roof.
I had this playing this morning for my very bored cat, she wasn't bored at all watching this. She went behind my monitor to look for the birds. Great entertainment for cats.
Gorgeous colors, especially those adorned in brilliant blue. This deep of blue in nature is rather uncommon and I took a minute to appreciate that with my cat and girlfriend this morning.
Thank YOU, Mr Copeland, for all the free drum lessons and tuning me into rhythms, your grooves on all those police albums, along with Andy's guitsrs & Stings bass, were and are, great part of my musical education to this day. Thank you for this video... it brings me back to hearing all those songs like it was yesterday. Bless you.
Stewart Copeland? I'm curious now what video you meant to post this on, unless I've been mistaken for a famous musician- but that's never happened before.... 🎸🤷🏻♂️
just wanted to tell You THANK YOU - my little feral got spayed & has been crying in pain since. I put on Your video - This Video & she has been quietly sidetracked from the pain watching. (update: herbs are a great pain reliever too for cats) - But apparently so is this Video!💖 Much Love!
Every bird visitor has been nothing short of captivating!! In our busy world this video is a masterpiece allowing and reminding us to be tuned in to nature. Thankyou for making this video! Countless #birds to watch!
So beautiful! We are "between cats" at the moment, but my 99-year-old homebound mother just adores this! She can't get around very well anymore, but this brings the outdoors to her. Thank you! 🌳🌞🐦
That’s so sweet, I’m glad it's bringing her joy 😻 I work with several retirement communities and the birds are an important part of their day - whether its in the gardens or on the TV. Thank for watching and sharing!
Today, 21 June 2025, is the official beginning of Summer in the UK. It's as hot as h*ll, and I'm catsitting two rescue cats, mother and daughter, Coco and Mimi, in their flat. Too hot to exercise them, so I've got this playing on my laptop on the floor for them. They've been concentrating like crazy, touching the keypad, walking around to find the birds, and sitting up very close. Thank you - the splashing water psychologically also has a very cooling effect for which I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Gail, London.
didn’t know I needed this til it came up for something I searched and I said “ah what the hell, why not”. I’ve been really going through it lately, I think I needed this
Can we know ? if that continuous watering birdbath is a kit that can be purchased somewhere.. or was it custom put together with a pond pump. I've made a few like this for outside birds, but I like this bath better. My indoor birds have been loving this video!! Thanks for the tranquility.
Yes it was custom made with parts I have. I did find someone who sells really cool all in one water kits without the birdbath but they are out of stock and don't sell on amazon or anything, but I asked them if they would. If it wasn't so heavy to ship, I would sell the complete birdbath myself but it would cost more in shipping than the product!
@@LensMyth Did you say you would sell that birdbath in this video..? Wouldn't that would be a terrible heartbreak for the birds? Just kidding, but if I picture birds in Heaven; it's a scene exactly like this video. You have inspired my next project to make a setup like yours. It's perfect.
Yes you are right, but without heartbreak we would be unfit to truly appreciate the fleeting joy that life may bless us with... I think... well either way I can cast new cement birdbaths for them anyways! Appreciate the comments and thanks for sharing the video with your birds
I bought the birdbath at Lowe's in the gardening area. They have the deeper ones too but those just don't attract the same assortment of birds. Water is pumped up from a pond liner underneath which I had to purchase separately.
@@LensMyth I absolutely love watching This… I have it on two different TVs for all my cats and myself! The colors are so vibrant -I also love the flowers You have around your birdbath and watching all the beautiful birds you are able to capture on video ❤❤ is not only entertaining, but calming .I have a solar fountain set up in my birdbath (also purchased from Lowe’s,) but I would love to have some sort of set up like you do to ensure there is a constant flow of water, especially in the summer. sometimes the fountain sprays the water out, and I am constantly having to fill it to cover the pump… would you be open to showing a video of how your pond liner and pump is configured to work with your birdbath… I know there would be a few thousand people who would love to have this set up❤
I just happened to see your channel. I dont have cats, 2 dogs, and they like watching the birds. I love watching the birds too! May I ask where did you get the bird bath? I would love one of those with the bubbler on the side and constant water flow. Thank you.
1:58:30 Brown Thrasher it is! if you want to see what I believe to be a Wood Thrush check out this video dedicated to him ua-cam.com/video/TwCtGfy-vtc/v-deo.html This one has been acting a little bit ridiculous.
I absolutely love your videos. Is there any way of saying what area you might live in so I can look up some of the birds that I see in the birdbath? Living in Florida, there are some I’ve never seen especially the black and red one, the one that had white wingbars.(not the cardinal)
Yes of course, this is in central South Carolina. The Robins, American Start and Common Yellowthroat warbler are not very common around the bird feeders here, so it was lucky to see them in the bath!
Did you get the birds permission to film them? Because I didn't and I got sued by a Blue Jay, a Cardinal, and 2 sparrows. Now the sparrows did drop the lawsuits but the Cardinal is adamant about the case. He hired a lawyer named Mr. Beaks to represent him. The Blue Jay's case is still pending.
It's not just for cats. Very relaxing to watch as a human too
I have baby sparrows and the way that thay sleep to this is adorable

Would be funny if they panned the camera back out and the yard looked all Sanford & Son…
Thanks!

The best of all. Yours are our GOTO videos for kitty AND me. The addition of bird names and new flowers make you MOST fabulous.
My cat was gently tapping the screen of my tablet with his paw and hit the like button 😂😊
Thank you for these videos!!
Awwww! 😻
The red bird looks very cute and this is really relaxing my mind .💙

so lucky to have the blue birds we dont have as many birds as we used to.
My cats just wander off and leave me watching this 😆

This is what my cat wrote with his paws, also he loves this! “Oooooooolkooooklooooooi”
Lovely clean birds 🐦 🐦⬛
What a treat! Thank you for easing my migraine today❤
What a beautiful setting you've created for birds! My cat - & me love this video! Ty
Thank you for watching! 😻
& our african grey was def entertained, too! 😍
Birds are peaceful
One of my favorite videos. This type of bird bath is also a fave, love the ripples! 💙
Yay! This one's still running too, the copper penny on the bottom kinda works to keep algae away... for a little while.
Lovely birds , sounds of song and water; so beautifully created. Love the video! ❤
This is so beautiful. The sounds are very relaxing.
Thank you! if you have any audio video requests, let me know!
I'd like to know how you make the splashing/rippling effect in this birdbath. It's perfect!
My cat stared at this for 8 minutes before tapping the screen, accidentally clicking off, then running away to find the birds
Thank you for sharing 👍🏼👍🏼. Stay safe healthy and happy ✝️🇺🇸🦬🖖

This keeps my monster totally engaged, so I can clip his nails and administer hairball gel and brush him. Thank you!
Thanks from my cats 🎉

My cat has turned into a couch potatoe
Such a variety of birds! Whereabouts do you live?
This around Columbia area in South Carolina
That birdbath is perfect. It has a small trickle of water that birds prefer. Where did you get that? Brand? Anything to help me find one. Thank you!

I got this one a the hardware store, basic and not too deep. the water is a little pump on a timer.
Is this going to cost me to watch from laptop?
I’m sitting here with my bird books, trying to name each one, wood thrush…brown thrasher…?

the bird you have tagged as hooded warbler is actually a common yellow throat!
Fixed! Thanks
Yellowthroat at 2:43; redstarts at 0:06 . These are birds we do not commonly see at the bird baths like this in southeast US.
Thank you for that, I was very excited to see those new birds and was not positive of their identities!

What kind of camera do you use for this? Thank you.
I used a BMD 6kpro for this one i think.
how did you get that kind of water flow?
What camera do you use ? Does it use an sd card ?
Yeah it uses SD or even SSD but I generally just record it to a hyper deck device if I can.
@@LensMyth
Thx. Which camera do you use?
Hi lensmyth can you please make a video of the birds eating suet feeder
Hi lensmyth
May I have permission to use just a little bit of the video 🙏
What are you making? Some people make videos of pets interacting with the video on a TV, I think that's great! Make sure to tag me @lensmyth
Is this video made in Virginia? A lot of these birds I see in my state
Close, it's in SC near Columbia.
So I need to move to experience these beautiful birds. I don’t have them in Massachusetts with the exception of the Cardinal.
