artists have certain expectations
As someone who draws (moderately well), artists sometimes have some expectation of their drawing and when they draw it there are times that the draw wasn't what they had in mind, when my friends / family tell me that my drawings are fine, if I don't like it I try to do it again (since I usually compare myself with the drawings of other artists better than me and I get discouraged since I don't feel that my drawing is as well done as theirs ;w;)

I'm going to interpret what dolltale is in my pov
it's an au where chara's soul is still in tact a bit and Toriel and Asgore sent her to Dr. Gaster to try and revive her with a bit of her soul left.. eventually by mysterious circumstances the experiment with chara's revival was deposited due to Dr. Gaster's sudden dissappearance.. and I assume Frisk was the second human to fall underground.. eventually Toriel found frisk and took them in.. although frisk started to feel creeped and concerned to why Toriel and Asgore were so obsessed and protective to her that she can't even leave the castle... it's starting to break frisk's mind of how she's basically held captive by them.. frisk eventually finds out why they act like that..frisk now feels she's used as a "doll" for them to recover from the trauma of their children's death she was seen as something like a toy to replace chara and asriel
but little did they know.. down the lab an unfinished chara sits there waiting

I think Dr. Gaster made Chara a doll, because of her not being able to leave the chair, and only stay there. If Asgore and Toriel knew she was alive then frisk wouldn't be in that position. (•́ ‿ ,•̀)

I loved how the characters look so obsessed with their son/daughter, they look so unreal really, you changed a lot their personalities and I really loved that! I can't wait to know more about Dolltale

The outfit and the chair in the ending reminds me of Mad Father but the bad ending where Aya turns into a doll, it's kind of the same scenario (kinda) :D you did great! im gonna use the ending scene where Frisk sits in the chair for reference if it's ok with you- :'D thank you if u give permission :)
