Hi Alex. The inputs to these Safety Relays are protected by a PTC fuse. Same for the Dold relays we sell. Can't really comment on how these "fare" without a lot more detail about your system. BUT, they do come with a 30 day money back guarantee and free programming software - so give it a try - you have nothing to loose!
Hi Nikhil, Thanks for the feedback. We didn't provide a detailed wiring diagram for this device because all the connection points are identified on both the unit and the documentation. We will try to include those kinds of diagrams in the future. Thanks!
@@adcpreviews1727 Dear sir/madam thank you very much for the reply I have a doubt is it possible to try these quick start experiments only on M1S without using(configuring) other modules(MI8O2, MO4)
@@nikhilreddy8191 Of course! Are you aware you can run a full simulation with NO hardware using the software? Check out this video to see how: www.automationdirect.com/videos/video?videoToPlay=qB5RiXitGso&q=mosaic
@@automationdirect Thank you for responding !! and yes, I'm aware of that. I made my safety design (program) and executed as per my plan. My program contains a lot of logic gates, inputs, outputs and safety outputs, but for the moment I had only M1S module, and I want to try some basic operations on it. I tried this particular operation(ESTOP with 2 OSSD[ua-cam.com/video/K8fisyy4rgU/v-deo.html]), but I have problems with the wiring part. P17, P18 passing through EMG BUTTON they goto P13, P14(OUT_TEST 1 & 2) and I don't know from where/how I can get the safety output. I know this is a bit more but if you can, please help me.
@@nikhilreddy8191 Hi Nikhil, The safety outputs are the OSSD outputs which are used to drive the safety relay. Sounds like you don't have the relay module, so to run a test, simply monitor the Status output (p12). Go to time=5:30 in this video to see the wiring diagram:ua-cam.com/video/K8fisyy4rgU/v-deo.html. Does that help?
Great video. Clear and easy to follow for beginner. Thanks
We are glad it was helpful! Make sure to check out more of our videos at www.automationdirect.com/videos/home
Most safety relay contacts cannot handle surge currents found on the inputs of items with switching power supplies. How do these fare?

Thanks for the comment Alex. Check out more about our product on www.automationdirect.com/adc/home/home
would be much helpful if the wiring (connections) has been demonstrated..... with programming
