Ethan, standing up for someone he doesn't like particularly, but agrees with on a broader level, is the spirit of CG.
People aren't 'cancelled' and can redeem themselves.
I find Ethan a bit abrasive, but I have to give him credit for taking this position. Don't take that to mean I don't like listening to Ethan, but in taking this stance, it makes it easier to like in spite of his spikiness. I believe the way forwards is redemption, making friends with your foes is always more productive than going to war with them.

Ethan - thanks for making a stand on principle and understanding that enabling this behavior is a slippery slope where the powers that be expect you to conform or be silenced.
I watch a lot of his content - and can't think of an example where he "bashes women". Can you provide an example? He certainly is critical of "sub-par" products, but IMO so are you. You built your business model about taking advantage of the insane folks that are running the comic industry. I respect that about the both of you.
I don’t recall him hating women. I do recall him bashing content by “creatives” that give women the same male characteristics they complain about. Oh…he also hates Mary Sue characters. And who doesn’t?
@@ChocolateCylon That's my take as well. Just felt that one of Ethan's statements was coming across as critical of GB, and I wasn't aware of anything that would have caused that.

EVS discovered why it is important to be on good terms with other creators on the platform a little late, he knows it well too. I hope they can put the past drama with Ethan aside but I don't think I could blame them for not doing so.
Being on good terms with lying snakes isnt all that important unless youre a grifter. The zeroes are literally scaming their customers and you there acting as if anyone should do anything other than spit on them.

Gary stood up for everyone who got canceled at C2E2. He also brought up defending Jae Lee when he got canceled for doing the variant cover of cyber frog. The problem is Evs still does his soy filled female ranting on Trashcast instead of finishing his own books.
