This is a project I've wanted to do next year, glad we can learn from your mistake (although I do have two microwaves as well in case I mess up :P) Thanks!
@MrElectron I found it before. Mix 2 chemicals and it produces co2 in a pressurized vessel. I forgot the chemicals but if u can't find it let me know and I'll look for it again. perhaps vinegar and sodium bicarbonate?
Yeah ! I know. I have mentioned that in the title as well as in the description. Thumbnail text is only a small part of the project title. I choose this text induction heater in the thumbnail because most people recognise metal casting with induction heating only and resistance heating for Aluminum Casting is not very common.

Thumbnail text does not represents the entire project title + I cannot write everything in detail in the thumbnail. For that we have a sperate title and description section. Please read the title first and you will understand.

U can make CO2 as a shield gas to eleminate impurities from the metals... and TY!
Cool 😎

so is there a risk of blowing the 100A fuse (I think it's 100A) that is in the box where the electricity comes into the house ?
This is not an induction heater. Its a step down transformer converted from a step up transformer.
Since you don't even understand what induction heating means, you probably shouldn't be messing around with electricity.
