Great job on doing this sort of work Greg!
Never enough of pointing out the threats our vulnerable eco system is facing every day.
I work in the nursery industry and we pay a lot of attention on plant and soil material being moved around the country.
Luckily down here in VIC we still haven’t had any of these popping up, but unfortunately I think it’s not going to take much longer for them to spread down here.
Keep up the good work 🏆

Hi Greg how are you yeah this is real distressing and a lot of people don't realise the cause and damage.. at Oxenford numerous parks are infected from Studio Village the front of Movie World and further north, and Carrara Lakelands it needs to be a more refined program verification and eradication out the front of Movie World they Parked cars for the boat show on fields with I counted 8-9 nesting sites and mowed around. they were treated but. I saw one that was still alive numerous cars parked all over the grassland.. now they just spread further ..I reported some at Oxenford.before xmas later they showed up2 days latter.. after the rain the nest was gone the nests have multiple queens.. I feel sorry for the person's dog that will die from a multiple bites stings..i heard a mates friend had anaphylactic shock at emergency, from multiple stings.. I tested the sting on my thumb..yea 9 to 10 ,,out 10 on pain , like a stronger green ant pus a wasp combined..and leaves a welt for 2-4 days.the reporting hotline is clunky..and as if the oldies are going to log it in.. 26:19

Hi Greg, thanks for highlighting this, I fear it may be too late, if you can easily find many nests, there's probably many, many more undetected ! 😪😮

Check Bunnings or local hardware store. Few different options depending on infestation.

Molten aluminium turns them into funky sculptures.

I live on the Island of Guam and our fire ants came from Australia, most experts agree. So thanks for nothing.

Fire ants arent native to Australia. So your experts arent really experts.
