The first storm game had so much potential in the open world mechanics smh... Idk why they removed it.

My dream Naruto game:
1. Fully open world map, all 7 villages explorable including the lands between them with little to no loading screens or transitions and free 3D camera movement.
2. Fighting system similar to storm games but rather than separate stages, the fights can happen anywhere.
3. The environment affects the potency of a jutsu. E.g if you're in the hidden rain village, then fire style won't be as effective.
4. Destructible environments
I know this will probably never come to fruition but at least I can still dream😞
5.Futon, katon, raiton, suiton, Doton would Have Its Benefits.

Everything was downgraded in the later games, even the combat system got very worse, if you go back to ultimate ninja 5, you can see how the game was much more fun to play.

Stuck to the Ultimate Ninja series and didn't include the Xbox titles since they are in their own league and far superior than any ultimate ninja open world experience. I'll incorporate them in a separate type of video in the future, just gotta think of some ideas first. That being said, I hope you enjoy this vid!

Wow, Ultimate Ninja 3. Now that takes me back. In terms of which open world was the best in the PlayStation Naruto games, I’d have to easily give it to Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm (2008). Not only was it gorgeous, but it was open and expansive. Plus, being able to launch yourself across Konoha via Shadow Clones was genius. The only areas that it lacked in was not being able to leave the village and travel freely throughout the world. If you combined *Ultimate Ninja Storm’s (2008) open world + The Broken Bond’s exploration/its fast pace* = you literally have the perfect Naruto open world in a video game. 💯

I remember playing the first storm game almost every day, and replaying the story mode whenever I finished it. Then one day I tried loading the disc and it just stayed forever stuck on the loading screen. R.I.P my first ultimate ninja storm game 😔

Why did they change it from Open World free roam in Storm 1 to traditional JRPG like pre rendered background exploration in Storm 2? Seems really weird.

Storm 1 had the best open world and actually made you feel like a ninja by jumping on buildings and stuff but the later installments took it away
Konoha from UN3 and UNS1 are the best for exploration, but they're so desert. It'd be interesting if there is a open world Naruto game, like GTA, for exemple.

Something i hate about Boruto is how they use the soundtrack in the wrong times both anime and games, like, Boruto and gang are just there standing/walking and talking and the music is all a rocky battle like theme. Like if they are just chilling, put chill music why put a battle theme over people just talking? Music Doesn't fit the situation

Ninja storm 3 was the best. It used it in the story and had the hidden sand and cloud village as well as other locations. Great memories there.
Tbh having UNS1 as a blueprint with some inspiration from spiderman (mobility aspect) and GTA (various activites) it can create a priceless game

now i am 23 and yesterday i downloaded ultimate ninja 5.
first time playing it ( yes i wanted to buy it back then but i was just 11, and the game was 12+ so i couldnt get it and gave it up ).
and i have to say. so far after 7 hours i think ultimate ninja 5 is my favourite naruto game.
the story, the chakra usage, the character unlocking, gameplay, the substitution you have to time right, the fist fight clash, the jutsu clashes, the ultimate jutsus, the linked jutsus, the butterfly awakening for CHOJI KID !!!!!!!! ( not in other games FML )
and on and on. i really do like all that stuff.
you have to explore the world in that game to find the wooden clones and fight them to unlock those characters. dude tahts perfect.
i remember spamming ino's bomb jutsu to kick opponent out of Map to kill him fast to get fast money in storm 3 and unlock all characters. what a garbage shit............. no skill required.
of course i enjoyed storm 3 and storm 4. i really do liked storm 3's story mode, it took me about 13 to 15 hours. thats something unique todays!
storm 4 was alright too but there was one thing i still dislike. the fire jutsus of the " newer " characters look stunning but from other chars example PTS sasukes fire ball jutsu is the same look of ps3 naruto games. they copied it. like wtf?
so older characters got forgotten and were not improved in storm 4. fuck my life.

I enjoyed Ninja Storm 2's Konoha because it's lively and the fixed camera angles make for some beautiful scenes. Personally I don't feel the need to be able to jump around everywhere

ultimate ninja 3 will always be konoha in my head, I know the hokages mansion is way to close to the gate but besides that the map has the perfect look and sense of scale and the way you could walk on walls was so satisfying thats what i think the newer games lack i want to be able to climb ontop of every building and walk on every wall, never played the first ninja storm but it looks pretty good in that sense too
