In case you guys didn’t know, the cook (Kaito, who’s name is Carlos in this story) is actually Meiko (her name is Banika in this)’s fiancé. However, they broke up once Carlos realized Banika was crazy. Then, Carlos came to work for Banika as a cook, and decided the only way to free her from her evil was to kill her. However, what he didn’t know is that she had forged a contract with a demon that allowed her to eat anything without consequences. So, he poisoned both of their soup, because he wanted to die with her I guess, and after they ate dinner, he died because of the poison. Banika wasn’t affected, and decided to cook up and eat his dead corpse in order to always keep him with her. So yeah, it’s even more disturbing, yay.

If I remember correctly, her mother made her eat great amounts of food and punished her if she didnt, so she gained a lot of weight. When she got engaged with Kaito/Carlos, it was his family if I'm not wrong who rejected the girl once they met her AND saw her eat (she ate in a bad manner because of the fear of being punished) so they rejected her and made it sound like he did as well. When he came to work for her, he didnt recognized her. Because of her contract with the demon, she'd eat whatever she wanted it without consequences, INCLUDING without gaining way, but if I'm not wrong there it was a condition that would make her never be satisfied. When he realized who she was, he was so horrified with the monster she had become (as she was a sweet girl) that he tried to kill her and himself with the poison, inviting her to eat with him. hey there! so this song confused me for a long time so I looked up the wiki! so for anyone who was confused here's the gist of it: banica Conchita was a superior almost queen like that had sampled and enjoyed the greatest foods from around the world, however she became ashamed because she was worried about growing in size. so she made a deal with the demon known as gluttony to allow her to eat whatever she wishes without it harming her (thus why she is able to eat poison) or affecting her size. however, it was in exchange for her soul and that she would always hunger. eventually the more she ate, the hungrier she became. delicious foods grew old and bland to her. so she required more gruesome and worse food to satisfy her hunger but it never helped. she ended up eating her servants and plates, leaving her nothing else to eat..however she was still hungry. so she ate the last thing she could; herself.
Also I’m pretty sure she hade a baby with Carlos (Kaito in this story, the chef) and was also poisoned by him, the baby acted as a vaccine and the demon of Gluttony wanted her to eat it so that they didn’t die, they argued and Banica ate herself as well as the demon.

Truth be told, Meiko never did kill Kaito. Kaito did plan to escape, but when Rin and Len caught him, Meiko decided to spare his life since he was her lover. The reason why Meiko ate him in the end is because he accidentally ingested poison and died from it. Meiko was like "Meh, he's just free food." and then asked Rin and Len to cook him. And it's weird, but when she was eating him, she somehow found herself crying. This is so weird.
He didn't accidentally eat poison he tried to kill her and him by poisoning a dinner that they were eating together but since because of the contract she didn't die but he did.

In the end, the demon of Gluttony wanted her to eat her baby because she ingested the Grim the End that Kaito put in there. (The baby was both Meiko and Kaito's.) honestly as much as i like realistic and more refine tuning of Meiko's voicebank, she sounds the best when she sounds like this. I love how she sounds in this original ver of this song more than I like the newer versions
i completely agree, the difference is staggering because Meiko here hits some notes and tunes that are just impossible for a normal person to ever really be able to do, esspecially highlighted in the chorus, and the new version is completely absent of that, making it sound just flat to me.

It's actually quite a sad story once you know the whole tale, like about why she said that she would be punished if she left anything and about how her chef was actually Carlos Marlon, her ex-fiancé, who left her because of her food addiction which was caused by her mother who was murdered by her father. She had a baby as we'll but managed to resist the Demon of Gluttony and ate herself instead.

Yeah well, Rilliane is more like influenced by the demon of Vanity - Lucifer much like the devil on one's shoulder in the old cartoons. We do have to draw the line with Gallerian and Margarita though both were forced by circumstances to do so, Margarita especially.
Well, I suppose that Gallerian was resurrected as Gear and retained a somewhat human mind, being able to go against the general consensus that Gallerian's vision of Utopia was a negative thing, despite the opinions of the others. The Master of the Court also appears to be in a similar position as her song, Master of the Court, shows her doubts about the plan. It appears that those who almost deserved a better life after their resurrection, got it. Even the Waiter almost has a better life. After all, she will be reunited with Irregular. It's most likely because she repented while the others did not which is why Ma (and possibly Gammon in the future) ended up being so twisted. Even so, it's strange that everyone but the one that is often linked to Adam who was against the Sins are wholeheartedly believing the plan while Gear does not. I could imagine Irregular being the same as he is not one of the Vessels. He just had his soul eaten by Gluttony.
Good point, even though nobody said that Gallerian was resurrected at all in canon. Actually, Gammon was also against Utopia much like Gear with the others agreeing with it since Utopia is an impossible dream. As for the Master of the Court, she does doubt that the Dream of Utopia would come true, but shrugs her shoulders since she is only following her "father's" footsteps after all. I'll just go on a limb and say that by year EC 1000, Megiddo would happen instead of Utopia. Personally, Utopia is a bunch of hooey that people only hope to achieve or find in their lifetimes. Kind of like the Gates of Horn and Ivory with Utopia being the latter gate. It is also ironic that if Utopia does exist, it would not really be Utopia at all. Edit: Meggido just happened in Seven Crimes and Punishments. Let's hope that Utopia is next.

Honestly, Conchita's one of my favorite characters in EC because of how amazing she is. Like damn, she became the demon of gluttony after eating herself and then later becomes the master of the graveyard and that's so!!!! cool!!!!!! I also like the fact that when her castle was empty after eating nearly everyone and the last living being there was her baby, she refused to eat her child despite the urges from the previous demon of gluttony and instead eats herself. Her descendents are also all amazing characters, and Conchita's also the demon mentioned in Twiright Prank!! Hhhh Conchita's great and i love her

I wouldn't necessarily call her voice sweet. Same as Meiko, I'm typically not a huge fan, but I have quite a few songs that I am in love with by her. Those being ECHO, Ten-Faced, Tokio Funka, Persecution Complex Cellphone Girl, and maybe a few more I don't remember... Her voice is very clear, and can almost be edgy in some songs. She's also one of the hardest Vocaloids to control since her clarity can end up choppy and emotionless when used raw.

Yeah well, "Joseph" the cook is actually Prince Carlos Marlon in disguise and his main goal was getting the Glass of Conchita (presumably where the Demon was). Love was not in the plan but it did result in Banika being pregnant and chose to eat herself but not the baby. As for the Glass itself, a certain teal haired shrimp got it and returned it to her master who was later known as Abyss IR or AB-CIR as Lord Forgon had pointed out.

Truth be told, Meiko never did kill Kaito. Kaito did plan to escape, but when Rin and Len caught him, Meiko decided to spare his life since he was her lover. The reason why Meiko ate him in the end is because he accidentally ingested poison and died from it. Meiko was like "Meh, he's just free food." and then asked Rin and Len to cook him.
And it's weird, but when she was eating him, she somehow found herself crying. This is so weird.
He didn't accidentally eat poison he tried to kill her and him by poisoning a dinner that they were eating together but since because of the contract she didn't die but he did.

The Grim the End has an ability to kill other contractors of the seven deadly sins (The sin in Evil Food Eater is Gluttony and the item is a red glass and the Grim the End is an item of Wrath.) In the end, the demon of Gluttony wanted her to eat her baby because she ingested the Grim the End that Kaito put in there. (The baby was both Meiko and Kaito's.)

honestly as much as i like realistic and more refine tuning of Meiko's voicebank, she sounds the best when she sounds like this. I love how she sounds in this original ver of this song more than I like the newer versions
i completely agree, the difference is staggering because Meiko here hits some notes and tunes that are just impossible for a normal person to ever really be able to do, esspecially highlighted in the chorus, and the new version is completely absent of that, making it sound just flat to me.

It's actually quite a sad story once you know the whole tale, like about why she said that she would be punished if she left anything and about how her chef was actually Carlos Marlon, her ex-fiancé, who left her because of her food addiction which was caused by her mother who was murdered by her father. She had a baby as we'll but managed to resist the Demon of Gluttony and ate herself instead.
True, but unlike the other sinners, Banika got what she wanted in the end - being the Master of the Graveyard and still being served by her servants.

Everyone else brought their misfortunes upon themselves (I know that Rilliane was being controlled by the mirror, but, in the end, even though she was manipulated, she made the decisions).
Yeah well, Rilliane is more like influenced by the demon of Vanity - Lucifer much like the devil on one's shoulder in the old cartoons.
We do have to draw the line with Gallerian and Margarita though both were forced by circumstances to do so, Margarita especially.
Well, I suppose that Gallerian was resurrected as Gear and retained a somewhat human mind, being able to go against the general consensus that Gallerian's vision of Utopia was a negative thing, despite the opinions of the others. The Master of the Court also appears to be in a similar position as her song, Master of the Court, shows her doubts about the plan. It appears that those who almost deserved a better life after their resurrection, got it. Even the Waiter almost has a better life. After all, she will be reunited with Irregular. It's most likely because she repented while the others did not which is why Ma (and possibly Gammon in the future) ended up being so twisted. Even so, it's strange that everyone but the one that is often linked to Adam who was against the Sins are wholeheartedly believing the plan while Gear does not. I could imagine Irregular being the same as he is not one of the Vessels. He just had his soul eaten by Gluttony.

Actually, Gammon was also against Utopia much like Gear with the others agreeing with it since Utopia is an impossible dream.
As for the Master of the Court, she does doubt that the Dream of Utopia would come true, but shrugs her shoulders since she is only following her "father's" footsteps after all.
I'll just go on a limb and say that by year EC 1000, Megiddo would happen instead of Utopia.
Personally, Utopia is a bunch of hooey that people only hope to achieve or find in their lifetimes. Kind of like the Gates of Horn and Ivory with Utopia being the latter gate.
It is also ironic that if Utopia does exist, it would not really be Utopia at all.
Edit: Meggido just happened in Seven Crimes and Punishments. Let's hope that Utopia is next.

Honestly, Conchita's one of my favorite characters in EC because of how amazing she is. Like damn, she became the demon of gluttony after eating herself and then later becomes the master of the graveyard and that's so!!!! cool!!!!!! I also like the fact that when her castle was empty after eating nearly everyone and the last living being there was her baby, she refused to eat her child despite the urges from the previous demon of gluttony and instead eats herself. Her descendents are also all amazing characters, and Conchita's also the demon mentioned in Twiright Prank!! Hhhh Conchita's great and i love her

Yeah well, "Joseph" the cook is actually Prince Carlos Marlon in disguise and his main goal was getting the Glass of Conchita (presumably where the Demon was). Love was not in the plan but it did result in Banika being pregnant and chose to eat herself but not the baby.
