It's so nice to come across a male book tuber who reads things I might like to read. I enjoy your videos.

The 2 books I liked the most that I read in 2023 were A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara and The Dollmaker by Harriet Arnow. The Dollmaker is very hard to get. I just happened to have an old paperback copy of it. Actually, I had also read it a long time ago. The book I most disliked last year is Snow by Orham Pamuk. I didn't really know what was going on in it most of the time and I really didn't care. I couldn't wait to finish it. I'm probably an idiot because it won the 2006 Nobel Prize for Literature but I didn't like it at all.

I haven't read Snow yet although I have the book. people's tastes in books differ. I hate the Boy in the Strap PJ with a passion although many think it's the best thing since slice of bread.
just check The Dollmaker on amazon. Very interesting. Will definitely give it a go.

Thank you. I do recommend The Dollmaker. There was a made for TV movie of it with Jane Fonda as the lead but she wasn't Gerdie for me. It's a book that made me actually sob and I didn't care for the end but I still love the book.@@harrysbookcafe
