    As the saying goes, "Tell me, and I'll know. Show me, and I'll remember. Let me do it myself, and I'll understand."
    It's great seeing your kids take an active role in all aspects of ranching, and doing tasks themselves, whether it's learning to operate a gate or operate shop equipment. That's how they become smart, capable kids now and smart, capable adults in the future.

    I’m 80, and hope I live long enough to watch these kids grow and to see what they will become. Ranchers, I’m sure. So admire this family!

    Love how Riley is teaching the ropes of farm life to his little brother. Melts my heart. Sure glad the hay was safe and the fence fixed. Seen devastating piles of hay go up in flames here. Noticed you fixed the truck too. Good to see. I was watching a UA-cam video the other day of a parent doing all the farm chores while their spoiled kids inside the house. I have Big respect to you teaching your kids to work. Grew up working my butt off and was expected to carry my weight and more. We farmed and had a wood business. My dad said he didn't need a forklift he had kids.

    Your show has fast become my favorite Utube show ! Watching your boys working and playing and growing up with their dad.... and mom, is really entertaining for me. My kids and grand kids are for the most part all grown, which leaves me with only memories of the life that you are living right now so, you enjoy,.. because your time will pass quickly.

    It is obvious that you're raising your well behaved kids right and that is so good to see these days.
    Raising kids on a working farm or ranch is by far the best way to raise youngsters to become solid citizens.

    The camera didn't show it the fuel line to tank connections for Generator. Need Mud Leg for fuel draw. Water and rust must fall into vertical pipe as "T" leg is down. By drawing fuel off across this leg water and rust fall into leg and save primary fuel filter change. If possible install fuel shut upstream to drain Mud Leg of water and rust.
    Love watching your boys learning. So many sons are doing video games not real life living, God has Blessed You ❤️

    You know what I did to the racks on my 4 wheeler? I cut a piece of plywood the shape of each one, bevelled the edges and even put some sealer on the edges and both sides, then fastend them to the racks, sure made it a lot easier for anyone to sit on them. Be sure to use carriage bolts so they don't snag their derrieres.👍👍

    A 2 gallon pump hand sprayer with a cup of Dawn dish detergent mixed in makes a good sprayer for a welder to keep close by. For quick refills, a few premixed gallon or 2 gallon jugs is good. The detergent makes the water stick to dry feed or grass, giving better coverage on super low humidity days.

    • @ajskab99
      @ajskab99 2 роки тому +1

      That’s what our rural fire department does. They keep a bottle of dish detergent in their fire trucks and UTVs. It works great. A good metal yard rake is pretty handy for controlling fires also.

    Best materials I've found for feed lot fencing is oilfield pipe and suckered rods or oilfield pipe for posts and old crane cable, all are relatively cheap and very strong compared to other materials.

    In India we do something called “wet welding”. Simply put take a huge gunny sack and soak it with water till it is literally dripping. Put this below the welding area so that all your welding sparks are “killed” before they can do any damage. It has always worked here and should over there too. Enjoy!! Be alert and happy welding. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

    I have in the past, when I had pipe tear up, is to take a larger or smaller diameter pipe, find the broken place, place the smaller length of pipe, with one piece inside the other one, drill hole through both pieces, place a bolt in the hole on both pieces n join pieces together on both ends. Spliced in.
