Omg!! I have never seen this done before! The way you made those rolling pins out of tree branches! I think you are fantastic! They are beautiful! Omg! And your candlesticks are so so beautiful!! Thank you for this video! You are so talented!
Your and Jami’s videos are so much entertaining than any others I have watched, easy to follow and the chemistry between you is great, but you also are wonderful individually.
Those rolling pins are sweet! I'm sure whoever ends up with them will treasure them for generations. The ribbed one is my favourite for sure. Brings the old world back into the kitchen especially to use them with vintage recipes. Beautifully done, you are a true craftsman. Makes me wish I had my dad's old lathe again. It itself would be an antique now since he made things in the 50's with it. And love your stamp, precious. Well done and thank you for sharing Zeb. You are both fun to watch and an inspiration.
Unbelievable, What a fantastic job!! I love the pastry rolling pin. That takes talent. Don't ever underestimate yourself!! Everything looks great. And your stock pile I'd be in heaven.lol Love your channel big inspiration for me . HUGS Debbie
OMG! what a stash of wood, I would lose my mind! the mac-daddy candlestick is amazing & the grooved rolling pin!!!! I think Jami would be proud you multitasking & holding down the fort. your doing a great job with the videos!
I sure enjoyed watching u work. Talk about talent! Your candle holders are all different and ALL gorgeous! And I've never seen such a unique set of rolling pins. I love everyone of them. It would be really great to see more videos showing your work,... like this one. "Just a thought." THANKS A BUNCH Keep 'em coming.
Beautiful work! It looks fun., & there's nothing to be sorry about l always say change is good🐦hi to the both of you sharing is caring and keep those videos coming.
Love these. Seems you could make some really cool lamp bases with these too by drilling a hole down the middle. But I guess that would take a really long drill bit lol.
This is very cool Zeb. Wish I had this talent. I just bought a band saw from a garage sale. Now I need to learn to use it. Do you happen to have a video on how to use different saws? Or can you recommend one? Thanks to you and your lovely wife for sharing with us?
Hi Zeb! Thank you for this video. I have the same lathe. My husband got it for me.:-) i love it! I am having trouble sharpening my chisels. Can you do a video on how you sharpen yours please? Thank you so much! Just love you and Jami! God bless!
Question for Zeb... I got a 25% off coupon from Harbor Freight, so I pulled the trigger on the lathe (YAY!). Just wondering which tools your using to carve up your pieces. It looks like you're using carbide chisels (and that's the direction I'm seriously considering vs. HSS that I'd have to sharpen over and over). Do you have any recommendations? Thanks! ヅ
Scott Giorgini I started with HSS and still use it for some applications. But if you don’t want to spend as much on a sharpening jig/grinder as you did on the lathe then I would go with the carbide. I did 300 candlesticks and 20 table legs without having to get new carbide tips.
Scott Giorgini I made my own, there are a bunch of good tutorials if you search it. If you want to just buy them easy wood has a 3 tool starter set that you can do 99% of the cuts with for about $150.00. I use the easy wood cutters on the ones I made and they are great!
Dang, Zeb, you got some skills!!! Really enjoy all the JRV videos. Thank you again for sharing 😊!
Zeb you kill it. Always giving us great detail of step by step.

Zeb has a long drill bit! We use them to make skeleton lamps sometimes. 👍

You both are so talented. I love what you do. Rhonda from Tucson Az
Yay! Tucson! A lot of my family lives in southern/eastern Az. -Zeb
I'd love to see how you made the metal stamp.
I need to make a bigger one for larger pieces of furniture. I'll try to film it if I get around to it. It might be a minute before I do that. -Zeb
Jami Ray Vintage sounds good.
Hi Zeb! Thank you for this video. I have the same lathe. My husband got it for me.:-) i love it! I am having trouble sharpening my chisels. Can you do a video on how you sharpen yours please?
Thank you so much! Just love you and Jami!
God bless!
I will try to add how I sharpen my tools in a video soon. 👍 -Zeb
Wow!! you have a huge, homework !!!
Sir, do you ship to the UK? Your rolling pins are exquisite ☺
Your wood looks like bois d'arc or commonly known as Osage orange. It is a very common tree in Texas.
Barbara Menard thanks :).
I can picture you in a different century working your 'wares'...
How much area does the sample of the fairy chalk mother cover ?
Jen M a small side table or child's chair. If it's a darker color it goes further

AWESOME! ...and thanks again, Zeb! You are a talented man, brother! ヅ
Did you seal the stain on the candle sticks?
Not on these. I let the stain dry and painted over these.
@@JamiRayVintage Thank you!
I want your life. No, seriously.
Your equipment is a lathe, your process is called wood turning and you are turning projects.
