This is so friggin awesome. Wanted to suggest: JaneSimstens regency royalty mod has some great dancing animations that fit the 'line dancing' of balls past (regency, medieval, etc.) you should connect and see if theres a way to work that in! I've been hoping for a way to do group dancing with those animations so this does have an ulterior motive too.

Can I second this? Just wanted to write that, could her Regency mod dances please be referenced as well, so the guests would pick them automatically? Is there also any way for all the guests to pick the same dance? That would be really so cool! But it is so absolutely freaking awesome even as it is, the ball looks so lovely, can't wait to try it out!

Also you just made me realize we’re truly lacking in the musical department in the sims. I would absolutely love to see group performances added to the main game (orchestras, more instruments, rock bands, kpop groups, choirs, etc.).

Your royalty mod never ceases to amaze me, i absolutely love it, the room IDs are a great idea, loving the grand ball update and can't wait to try it in game, the dance animations from the ballroom dance mod was brilliant idea to add, oh and the survive mod, i really hope you do add the zombie idea from your dev vlog, and that necro sim idea, love it, the more horror based, the better, absolutely love royalty game play and apocalyptic game play, i feel spoilt for choice with both mods lol, keep up the awesomeness, you're doing great XD
This mod keeps getting better and better. If only EA would let us build decent sized palaces.

I was trying so hard to concentrate on what you were saying at the beginning, but my adhd could only concentrate on the mailbox by the stairs 😂Had to rewind a couple times (not your fault, i found it funny)
Is there any chance you could change the colour of the Grand Ball notification? I always associate that orange colour with doom - fires, last exceptions, out-dated mods, etc 😅 No worries if you can't.
Is it possible to extend the timer for the event? Or is that something hardwired into the game? (i don't know much about how it all works lol)
Hello I am playing your mod now and i notice two things,its only allowing me to invite 9 guests to my ball despite having high relationships with other sims and knowing way more than 15 limit.But also when I try and choose the ballroom it won't come up does it have to be under a certain lot type?

When you said the sims can’t tell which room they’re in, I felt that… so to avoid lag in my game I play of a small lot (30x20) so naturally I have to make some building adjustments … my dining area is in the open landing (of when you come up the stairs)… I was hosting a dinner party, they all just stood in the kitchen (where the food was at)… I know there mods that can be used to deal with the situation but I didn’t have it in my game at the time…. Is Kitchen party a more appropriate name for my “dinner party?”
there is a old record player in the game that plays only classical music. not sure which pack it's from
