It was definitely to get her attention because anybody that pays to attention to the media knows he only ever calls her Tish .. so yeah it was because she wasn't responding. Kind of like when you're doing CPR stuff on people you're supposed to call them by their name not some pet names consequently that's how a man who killed his wife got caught. Cuz it went to court and it is everyone popular opinion that you don't call people by their pet names when they're catatonic or dying or whatever to get them to stay with you. Gomez said to Morticia "Morticia, you were never here you understand me? Morticia" to protect her and Gomez took the blame. And Garret fell off in front of Weems,Gomez then stood over the balcony so he would get the blame. He then was arrested for it but he was innocent.
