2:25 Blame Peter Dingladge (the little person from Games Of Thrones). He pulled the ladder from under him. 7 actors could have been cast for these iconic roles.
Just so you know, the Titan actually imploded in less than a second. Basicly, it was whole, then it wasn't. edit: I have no problem when they made Ariel black because, well, she's a mermaid as in fictional. But I refused to watch it when I found out they not only messed with the story, but got rid of my favorite character and his song (the French Chef).
I just feel race swapping for political reasons and not adding anything to the story is what makes it horrible. An example of a movie that made a race swap of a fairy tale work cause they rewrote it into a version that makes sense: the princess and the frog. The original fairytale is written with a white princess and a white prince. The remake adds the history and culture of the time period think around industrial revolution fifties sixties Idk my times that well, there are catchy songs and it teaches you about a new culture. If you look at what the race swap did for the little mermaid though. It was just sad. They didn't do right by her, she literally feels like a background char to her own story because of how poorly they made scenes with her in it. She feels more like a brothers grimm representation than the OG little mermaid from Disney cause I felt like she might turn into foam before she even meets the prince with how dark the setting is and how much she disappears into it. And the fix for that is so easy. They could have gone to the drawing board and said okay we wanna make the little mermaid for a black Ariel. First thing I'd do it is put her closer to the equator rather than a dark cold northern ocean. Because that allows for you to change the lighting and setting so she doesn't become one with the water every few scenes and shots. Secondly putting her closer to the equator in that time period also makes it make sense to add diversity in the story, which is what they wanted but in the end didn't put any effort in it. Because in the age of explorers there was more diversity in the non western main lands than the actual main land, so you don't gotta pretend that the prince is a dumbass for not recognizing the first black woman he met. There'd be plenty around making it harder to identify her as his savior. It really would just work better story wise, especially for my suspension of disbelieve. Thirdly you can put her in coral reefs where she likes to play with her friends and create a colorful and light setting like what the Disney aesthetic is. It would also let her pop out more and it'd ditch the filters that occasionally made her look greenish on the screen or downright ill and washed out. I want Ariel to still be the same bubbly curious young princess that she was in the original even if her design changes. And I really didn't get that feeling cause of all these choices. And let's not mention the plotholes some of the creative choices led too.
I watched the trailer through a roast reaction. my god WTF is disney smoking? MIXING Snow white and CHRONICLES OF NARNIA TOGETHER???? they have absolutely NOTHING to do with each other. that stupid boss girl trend is getting obnoxious where they always have to "prove themselves with a big battle to regain their birthright" has long overstayed it's welcome.
Mirror Mirror on the wall, it's Snow Brown and the 7 weird CGI..
You need to check out part 2. There's a comment they used in that video that killed me.
Bet
Y’all realize that this song is WAY more entertaining than the Movie itself 🎥.
Now we need a guitar🎸, bass player, drummer to put some beats into this songs
Snow White Live Action Movie = 10/100
Snow White Live Action Roastings = 9000/100
Dailywire version: 7/10
This video kills me every time. The dwarfs lowkey look like the polar express characters
Thanks!

Part 2 is even funnier lmao
Why did they do CGI instead of hiring actual little people Brad Williams would have auditioned just for the laughs😂
Because Peter Dinklage threw a bitch fit.
Mirror Mirror on the wall, *One Shall Stand and One Shall Fall!*
if the little mermaid wasn't named ariel but just a different mermaid i wouldn't had an issue with it
Snow White: So ju like my hair
Me: No Ju hair just like Lord Farquaad
Peter dingladge didn't want competition
