It depends on what kind of riding you do or like . Here in Cali it’s all about desert riding X3 and RZR. However my brother in Texas is more into the utility style. All are great machines it’s riding preference at end of the day. Good video and thanks for your time!👍🏼

Somehow got lucky and had 1 Pioneer 520 in stock when I called my dealer in May. Had a deposit on before I even got off the phone and picked it up that weekend. Have 5 acres and some dirt roads to cruise and by far my best investment to date. Hauled wood and done all sorts of cool projects this summer. Can't get enough Pioneer 520 videos and that's how I found your video! Looking forward to many years with mine and makes me feel good seeing how much praise everyone has for these UTV's in the online content.

@@UTVDIRT how can I make it ride better it definitely needs better shocks but they are for rich man at 1,400 dollars lol
@@douglashoward2735 Yeah about the only thing you can do is adjust the shock all the down to soft. Other than that it will cost you.
I have to agree here in n.w. Wisconsin. Its about cleaning up the yard and also the thousands of miles of trails right out my door without trailering

I’m considering both of these models also, would you be able to do a fuel economy test on both of them compared?
(2wd gravel roads ) our work commute is 10 miles each way gravel roads 97% .
Congrats on the new Pioneer. Does the Honda have a turf mode? I drive our Ranger 570 on grass quite a bit.
The Honda does not have turf mode. I think that's one of the reasons why the factory put less aggressive tires on it. They are like turf tires.
I just bought one today. $10,133 out the door.
It will be delivered Thursday. I've got 5 acres that I will be using it on to maintain and have a little fun.

Your can’t go wrong with a Honda I had the camo 1000 pioneer it never gave me any problems. I sold it about a month ago and got a x3

thank for sharing. I'm here because I'm on the fence about the 520 because I'd really like to have a locking differential but the talon(my next option is a monster and very trail capable. I worry that the 520 may not be able to handle Hartfield and mcCoy trails in west Virginia but I like the utility practicality of it. I also thought about buying two for the family instead of one 4 seater. My budget could do two 520 or 1 talon 1000r
i still have a front locker i never put in mine lol. and the rear is already locked stock

@@Lifeinabody-ix7yo no locker for the front. I bought one to solve that. The rear is just locked at all times. (Which I don't like for in my yard....) but really want a 520 still

I would have bought the pioneer if I could have …. Dealer is pre ordered til next June , they won’t take an order on anything , not even a foreman. I got lucky and found a base 570 sp. more expensive even at the base level. I do like the ranger but I’m not a fan of belts which is why the pioneer was my number one pick. The ranger is jumpy unless it’s wide open. But it will work for what I need it for . Unfortunately the post Covid build quality has affected everyone ….. brand new 570 and the sway bar is loose, vehicle has 4 hours on it and the sway bar is loose, multiple missing fasteners , and a few other small issues that’s just part of the quality control of the world we now live in. I had a Kawasaki mule pro mx on order when I found the 570sp. But ultimately deer season is upon us and I needed something now after waiting all summer .
