Obviously, no one can ever replace Linda but this young lady has such a voice and expression that she doesn't really need to pretend to be Linda, as she can hold her own in any company and I hope will do well. Good band too.
I could not agree more concerning your estimate of Tristan in this peace. She is that outstanding herself, without any need to resemble or copy anyone! Fascinating!
Then another talented artist will copy Tristan.

Great voice, great cover. If you're going to honor and pay tribute to anyone, there's none better than Linda. And I'm sure she'd love this. I'd love to hear more, like All That You Dream or White Rhythm and Blues. But wherever you all are now, I wish you all the best.

Hell yah. I first heard this in the late 70's when I was in high school, and then I got to see it performed live by Lowell George and Little Feat in the late 70's just before Lowell George died an untimely early death. Little Feat is up front on my play list to this day, and I'm 66.
Back in the 70s this song would play occasionally but it was hard to find on her albums. It has always been a favorite of mine along with Crazy. I was at a Ronstadt concert at Red Rocks in those years sitting in the front rows. Yelled out Crazy, she nodded in my direction and sang the song. Great night.

Beautiful song of LINDA RONSTADT covered by a BEAUTIFUL young LADY TRISTAN what a nice voice.
Wow. I am am awestruck. Like no kiddin'. Linda will always hold a very special place in my heart. I was such a big fan I saw her in my teens when she was doing her Nelson Riddle Orchestra Torch songs tour. It was amazing. This young lady is brave and does the tunes justice. The cutie pie aspect doesn't hurt either, but dang she really nails it. I am also so happy because the music was sooo good (IMHO) than what we've got going on out there now to a large degree. There's hope that great songwriters, melodies, harmonies, etc will live on...THANKS much.

I love Linda. Over my 60 years I've seen dozens of Ronstadt tribute bands. If you are a pro musician everybody in this video is doing what you are expected to do -and admirably! But what sticks out is the lady. This woman is exceptional. That voice and the way she applies it to Linda's material is superb.

A cover I can safely like. Linda's inspiration is clearly visible by this lady's performance. Awesome band as well as great harmony. There is another good version which was sung on the talent show "Norway's Voice" where Marianna Sorsenberg sing's a great cover with an amazing voice.
She (and the band) does a wonderful rendition of this song. Mr. Lowell is smiling.
I'm embarrassed to say it but I watched it about half way through thinking this was an early Linda Ronstadt video. Your voice and the band is perfect and your bangs haircut had me fooled. This is probably the best version of this song ever.

Like Linda, she's caught the song - sad and lonely and proud and still....willin'. Only a few can do it. If she spent a couple years singing Norteno music like Linda, she'd get the accent, and she'd be perfect. As it is, she's pretty damn good...

Fantastic. I was in HS when Heart Like A Wheel came out. In general, I hate covers. But she just killed this tune. It was fantastic and I'd bet a paycheck that Lowell was thrilled and loved it too. Now this. Excellent across the board. She didn't overdo it. Just right. Many thanks for posting this.
