If you don’t have any little jigs for panfish. Just normal wax worms. On a stationary hook works very well. You can also switch out wax worms for live crickets.
The Hook EZE things are a life saver for tying hooks up especially when its cold. I'm sure you've probably used one before but figured I'd mention it since I just got a pack of the non namebrand ones for like 10 bucks for 8 and after going out today and using them I don't know how I lived without them lol. Especially when its cold out, makes throwing a knot onto a hook incredibly easy since you can just secure the hook, and then spin it easily without worrying about sticking yourself or anything else.
Try using a 1/32 oz. Vmc pro series crayfish jigs. They may be very light but they do catch fish. Like a lot of crappie, tiger trout and brown trout, panfish and perch. Oh yeah I can't forget about smallmouth or largemouth bass at all either.
I think fish staying in the shade allows a form of artificial cover that keeps them from being seen while keeping an eye on potential prey or predators.
Just caught my first fish and it was a bluegill.
I've never seen that many items come in those boxes from Carl's. I've seen 4 items. I thank they gave you extra for the advertising

Great video. Never caught a panfish on a lure, always worms. Gonna try these techniques, thanks.
Bass are actually in the sunfish family so technically u still caught a panfish. Thx for the fun facts Marling Baits.
I didn't know that!

What combo is that this guy is using? I like it.
It’s a lews hs1 hypersonic combo. About 40 bucks at academy sports. Nice light action rod, smooth reel. Good stuff
Actually it sounds like in the video he has the ultralight, I have 2 of the 6’ light combos and they’re great
Let’s get after them PAN’IES! Felling the HEAT...
Hey MTB!

Where are you fishing............cold????? Are you kidding. Nice looking catch.
That toad shiner would catch a massive striper!

What test line
I wonder how it looks? Hmmm, maybe it’s... good?
Are you in Texas?
Will you share the location?
first
people who catch and release fish trigger me 🤣 you had some tasty fish there you just threw away
Rod is sensitive but not durable whatsoever. If you’re not a delicate fisherman do not purchase this rod.
