Just an fyi to any who find her casting on was too fast...you can click on the settings button and choose to slow the video down which is extremely helpful and makes it so much easier to see how she is doing it. Very clear that way
Hi, I'm a beginner at knitting, I came across your channel by searching for baby blankets. I've bought the material and I will try it out. I've learned how to knit and kfb. It's really hard to find good quality guides on how to knit. For example how to cast off/on, how to add another yarn to your work, how to finish your work (weave in ends of knitting). I can guarantee you simple videos like this would bring a great amount of viewers. :) I loved this scarf, I'm gonna give it a try after I knit the baby blanket.
Lisa thank you so much Lisa, I have plenty on videos up and many more planned. Your suggestions are helpful. Please browse on my Chanel, you’ll find cast off and weaving in ends, attaching new ball of yarn as well.
To all who struggle with this tutorial, simply search for moss stich or seed stitch videos. I personally find Sheep & Stitch most helpful for detailed, clear and slow tutorials (Im new to knitting).
Thank you for the video! ❤️ I'm an absolute beginner and I understood most of it, but I do have a question... Is there any way of figuring out whether your last stich was a knit or a purl in case you forget or leave the work aside for a while? I mean is the stich visibly different so that you don't stress about keeping in mind all the tine what kind of stich the last one was? 😅
Love this could you do a video doing a hat in round using the same wool please, also were there any knits in wool, l bought james c brett chunky and it had lot of knits in it wasnt happy as so expensive x
Hi I am just learning and thought the way you hold your yarn looked really interesting. I am a crocheter so I am used to holding the yarn in the left hand, all the knitting tutorials I have seen use the yarn in the right hand. Would you be able to do a video showing how you set up holding your yarn? Thanks!
Such a beautiful yarn with that little bit of shine to it. I used to knit many many years ago and then started with Crochet, but I might start knitting again after seeing this Video.
Brand new beginner and I can’t follow this (despite lots of crochet experience). Goes too fast and a more detailed explanation of how to knit and purl would be great. I watched how to knit the first stitch 16 times and still just can’t follow. Still appreciate this video, the tip of casting on with both needles is valuable information.
there are tutorials for casting on and both stitches. just bc a video says it's for beginners doesn't mean it's going to have all info, just search up what you need to learn and come back to the video 👍
Lily thank you for your feedback Lily, I’m working on a series for absolute beginners and since I have a lot more experience with filming now, I’m sure it will be helpful! Thank you and apologies
@@llily47 You wrote a comment a long time ago, you probably discovered the "secret" in the meantime, but I'll say it anyway - when the tutorials are too fast, just slow down the "playback speed".

The prettiest stitch i've seen while searching how to knit a scarf
I will do it
Thank you ♥️
I like doing the knit stitch cast on. It makes a nice smooth edge for scarfs
Thanks, I needed a new beginner scarf to make :) Easy instructions.

It helps to slow down the video to .5 speed or slower :)

I sick at purl stitch ;-;
For a beginner video this is still too fast for me :// especially when you began to knit and purl.
