Listened to the scanner that day, that comment was mostly due to jr wanting the car fixed and his crew chief kept telling him about other cars. He asked for an update on chase during the last caution tho.

Man this was a tough one. On one hand I'm estactic to see Kenseth get a win since he's being forced out even though he's still got a lot left in the tank. But on the other it's so bittersweet cause I was really pulling for Elliot to make the final 4 and have a shot at the title.
So happy for Matt!!!!!! That mush have been so cool to be a part of the 2 team, having everything come together in their favour and not knowing till the end.

Tbh, I don't know if MTJ will actually win it this year. It's probably going to be Kyle Busch winning the championship and Martin Truex Jr. finishing 2nd like Texas and Martinsville.

Poor Kyle Larson is going to know his engine is blowing 30 laps before it actually does
Kyle Larson's gonna need a new spotter and crew chief by next year. These last few races have really seemed to bring out some anger between them. Last week, both the spotter and crew chief basically called him out saying he's wrecking the thing on purpose now that he's out of the chase (can't say if it's true or not but still not something i'd be saying over the radio). Larson is running good but there is some bad blood going.
His crew chief is giving him really fast cars, no reason to let him go. Kyle Busch and his crew chief are always getting into fights. Larson wouldn't be blowing up motors because Chip would have a long painful talk with him about that. Also, his motor blew at Kansas so I don't see that being his fault. I just think that it was a manufacturing error on Hendricks part and of course Larson was lucky enough to get the engine with an error. If that's the case then Hendrick owes Chip a free motor.

Kyle Busch complains about his crew, not the (42) crew chief and spotter calling out their driver. That's bad. Real bad. The 42 crew gives Larson a "decent " car and HE makes the difference. The Ganasi team hasn't had a season like this, ever. Go back to the days of Sterlin Marlin to have a comparison. McMurray had a good year a while back, but on a week to week basis, never was in contention for wins majority of the races like Larson. The 42 was the best Chevy this year and could run with the 78 better than most all year. Larson IS the reason.

No driver will intentionally blow a motor. Hendrick must be doing some R & D. It worked too. Got him out of the 24 & 48's way, but they couldn't take advantage of it. Larson wrecking on purpose. No, just taking a I'll handling car and driving the shit out of it instead of settling for a mediocre finish. Ever heard of Tim Richmond? Go watch his early years. Took a piece of shit, wrecked a lot, but won a few races too, before landing the Hendrick ride.
Larson takes the high road and never blames his crew. Imagine him in a Gibb's car, with a championship crew. The results would be far better than his stats this year.

Chase is a terrible driver who chokes harder than anyone else ever has in the sport... Denny had 3 wins in his rookie season with an ok car and chase has none going into his 3rd year with one of the best rides in nascar

I went to the race amd we had thw headswts where you can listen to the drivers and spotters and crew chiefs talk and i was listening to chase elliott at 1:53 and so was my uncle and we bothb started laughing when Eddie said 'We're comin to the party, boys"... and it was so hyped up when Chase and Denny were racing each other! We were 15 rows back straight infront of Elliott's pit box sol it was some pretty good seats! And I'm bummed thst i switched from Jimmies channel to Erik Jones literally 5 seconds before Jimmie hit the wall!

I don't have a problem with what he did, I'm a John Hunter Nemechek fan after all and I was a Jeff Gordon fan. I'm just not going to live in a fantasy world where I don't think he wouldn't wreck someone for the win because I have no doubt he would especially after this week.
If Chase was like that he would have wrecked Kenseth when he was passing Chase, he could have easily gotten into his right rear and spun him around or worse. Chase was getting revenge on Denny. But he has raced clean with everyone else.
Not disputing that. Just because he didn't this time though doesn't mean he never would. Denny is a relatively clean driver too.
