I have this GPS and it is great. Just downloaded a new map over Wi-Fi and after it offered several country maps and had the size of each.
This is definitely their best model to date.
I didn't reply sooner as I hoped TomTom had sorted my problems when I updated my new TomTom GO 5000 last week. I have used two new GO 5000 in the last 12 months and both react the same.
Both 5000's cannot handle GPS between the high buildings built on horse drawn streets.
Try Aldgate Station in the London city's square mile and it takes you up one way streets if your lucky.
Most London streets that are lawfully 20MPH reflect as 30MPH in TomTom's update. Jeopardising my license, income and job. These roads have been 20MPH for years in most cases.
Both units still try to take you around the Elephant & Castle the wrong way. Unacceptable if you need your license.
Waze and TomTom are a good mix if you value your paperwork.
I am not here to criticise but improve TomToms services.

Thanks for sharing this, it's always good to hear about bad experiences too. I believe the map material for all devices is the same, so this might as well be the same case when using the 6200. Luckily I have never been to London yet... It sounds pretty bad. Do you know if other devices (from other companies) act the same way too?
just a quick post for old tom tom users and new. if you have an old device that supports live/ cloud service SIM you can now add your new device to you tom tom account note maximum 10 devices to 1 account. remember to delete any old devices from your My Drive Connect account when upgrades or trade in or if you plan to give your old sat nav away.
you can only download one map at a time on each device
for those who are unsure how to create an account simple free email and password

so did i, i was playing about with my old sat nav and this new one and stumbled on this when i send from my phone they both received new destinations. i lost the link where tom tom said you can add new devices but if i find it ill post it.
maybe you could do a vid using the my drive app on your phone showing how it works for those who are unsure
arrr thanks for this. A well made vid found this very useful all points covered well . im glad tom tom took some notice and put bluetooth calling. I have 5100 its dreadful slow no bluetooth bought in September 2015. i have a question when u switch it on do you find it slow and unresponsive when entering address . Thanks

It's a matter of taste. I like both, but I prefer Tomtom a little more.

Yep, same device - different size. One is a 5 inch, the other a 6 inch device.

Are you referring to the game servers from E-sim?! If so - I believe you misunderstand what that is. It has nothing to do with SIM cards or anything similar.

TOMTOM GO600 is terible NAVIGATION I have ever used!!! it has always problem always turn of when using or updating I lost my map an points!!!

my navi was changed by company but problem has continued and there is not servis and support in my country, terible terible!!!
Sounds to me like you were scammed by somebody. It sounds like you were simply given the same defective device again. I advise you return the device and demand a full refund. These problems are not normal and not how the device usually operates.
