my best guess is there was no time to clean the whole loco and as long as the TOC logo and the number is showing then it doesn't matter how mucky it is
I was on platform 2 when those 2 grids showed up. Got to cab 56113 that day, got talking to the driver and he said the 2 locos had been on rhtt and hadnt been cleaned yet
Brilliant video. Just subscribed. You're local to me as Swintons my local station, in fact my brother, mum and me appear in the video once or twice
Excellent different variety and catches there!! Really liked the shot of the pirvately owned class 20 at Hope!
Wonderful... The grimy double header 56s stole the show..... ❤ Class 56 😊
It's definitely a mind-blowing train presentation !! Greetings from India.
I love the class 37s!! Great photography 😃
Outstanding.
excellent videos, thank you :)
A mucky 5t113 is a beast to be admired - there's some power:
Where was that class 20 shunting the tankers to?
Class 66 brings the empty tanks to Earles Sidings and the 20 takes the wagons to the nearby Hope Cement works
Is that 20 privately owned?
@@thedaddie three 20s work there, 20906 (seen in the video), 20168 and 20309, all three are owned by HNRC and are leased to the cement works
but when the tank train passes, what do they spray on the tracks?
it sprays water on the track to remove any leaf residue during Autumn
@@ljtrains9430 ok, thanks for the reply, I always wondered what it was for. In Italy it is not customary to do this.
At 16.21 is someone paid JUST to clean the loco number & the company logo - nothing else?

I love trains so this is perfect for me
Very good. Not impressed by the disgusting state of the two Colas Freight Class 56's at the end. It reflects badly on the operator I feel.

Wow great selection there-instead of just being the boring 66s not a fan of that loco at all
