That was a new move that was given to Makoto in this romhack. It’s a counter special, she enters a stance and during it, she cannot be hit by lows. If she is, she’ll perform the first hit of her SA1 and send the opponent flying away with some pretty chunky damage. It’s a pretty neat tool, though I don’t know how useful it is, practically speaking.
Pretty much this version of Makoto is "off-line fair Makoto" (online still a bit iffy due to ping her dash is so fast sometimes she is in my face in a jittery way). Liked she also has a new counter special move and that she goes back to her move properties by using SAIII. Also her command grab being fair (less range much more recovery) but being FAST really makes it less annoying if she catcehs yu. Her damage scaling is fairr now she is not uber-damaging as before. I would recommend Ibuki with SAIII next time, she has a dope EX SAIII (2 stocks used) and amazing new EX moves that make her way better.
