Love this beautiful work horse. You can guarantee that you can rely on this car to take you from point A-B for the next 15 years regardless if it’s -40 or 105. As for me I love the no nonsense utilitarian design. After all it’s a work horse for the average Joe.
Same powertrain combination as in the Kona, and while it may seem not very powerful on paper, that IVT transmission just responds and it is actually one of the better CVTs you can get in a car.
Honestly, Honda's CVTs are really good as well~ I used to think that Nissan's CVTs were pretty good, but now, I think Honda's and Hyundai's are honestly the best. @@johnbeckham1483
I have the Venue, which has the 1.6L inline 4 cylinder with the IVT, and the IVT in that car is just as good as in the Elantra, although not as powerful. @@johnbeckham1483
Just bought the luxury variant recently. Coming from a family running a rental car business, i have driven a lot of cars and i find it easy to know a car better than other people! The elantra definitely doesn’t have a very powerful engine compared to its rivals, but the ivt transmission knows how to get the best out of the engine! I would say the ivt makes up for the less hp and this vehicle definitely doesn’t feel slow at all. Not crazy fast, but enough for your daily driving!
Oh the analog gauges are gone .. I think that is better as it took be awhile to get used to them - I am not a fan of the red "aircraft lit gauges" that most like, and and more "nice and clear" as I see here.
Actually no. It is mpi meaning multi point injection not gdi....i currently own a 2016 gls with the optional 2 liters inline 4 gdi and 173 hp and 154 of torque.but the problem with gdi engine is the carbon build up inside the engine.
Yeah the engine is the same: 2.0L N/A inline 4 with 147 HP and 132 lb-ft of torque paired with the IVT transmission which is the same powertrain as the Kona.
Go look at the new Hondas and ESPECIALLY the new Toyotas, then come back with that weak insult 😂 Those were definitely designed by people on some hard drugs
@DeadofWinter321 Kia/Hyundai are the worst cars(Probably after French and Italian cars). Designed by 4 year olds to last max 100,000km. The design language of Hyundai and Kia isn't even a language, it's gibbsrish. I'd never buy kia/hyundai anyways, either German or Japanese cars.

Thanks so much for sharing this review of the 2024 Hyundai Elantra SE Refresh

Hyundai/Kia's IVT is well built & quite dependable! The 2.0 Liter 4 Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Engine is solid!
Yes many people say that the Hyundai ELANTRA's IVT is the BEST on the road!

Hyundai is amazing at giving the most features at lowest price
interior is great!
The back isn't the same depending on colour. The bumper is black on the Red for example. On the 2023s and previous bumper is body colour.
Key operated, they will never be able to steal this one. Save on insurance.
The Sel is way better, but this is a great car my mother drove the 2023 model of it.
I’m really interested in getting an Elantra. Mind telling me more about the Sel?
@@benito8596 just do it
Does it have sunroof
Super nice
Definitely 👍

Is this the SE Trim?
Yes
I want to get information about a hybrid but nobody has information about it I also want to be able to build and configure it on the website

@Iegend17 not in usa on a 2024
Hello I have the new Elantra essential 2024 can I buy the tires size 225/45 R18 for my Hyundai ?
check side of door panel to find tire size. usually one or two sizes wider is fine
What color is this ?
is this still direct injection motor?
Actually no. It is mpi meaning multi point injection not gdi....i currently own a 2016 gls with the optional 2 liters inline 4 gdi and 173 hp and 154 of torque.but the problem with gdi engine is the carbon build up inside the engine.
Bro is liking any comment that is posted
And? lol
The speedometer needs to be on the right hand side not the left. Very awkward.
who cares?
Is this engine and 2019 engine same or different?
Yeah the engine is the same: 2.0L N/A inline 4 with 147 HP and 132 lb-ft of torque paired with the IVT transmission which is the same powertrain as the Kona.
Can you change the style of gauges to analog?
no it isn’t fully digital until you go to sel
What colour is this?
Ecotronic grey
@@Iegend17my Venue is the same colour 😄😄😄 it’s a cool colour honestly
They slowed down the turn signal 3:54
Hyundai cars get uglier every year. They really need to go back to the accent. The best looking cheap Hyundai ever made.
I actually think they are beautiful cars
The cabin is not quiet in elantra. Liar! I know I drove one for 50000 miles )
My 2020 SEL is quieter than my 2018 Camry LE.
엘란트라 아반떼
Kia/hyundais are designed by 4 year olds. Ugly cars that last max 100k km
Now that cars are practically computers, reliability at its finest 😅 (jokingly)
@@MukisaSS Not true, there are still cars out there thatcan last for 20 years anc 500,000km.
