A small amount of glue needs to be placed on foil or a small mirror of piece of glass. Gluing the lash flare directly from the bottle of glue will contaminate the bottle of glue.
@@DotterSvea Yes. Because the bacteria can be introduced by the toothpick, tools, fingers, surfaces and even the lashes if they have been out in the open can cause an infection.
I have watched a TON of videos on this technique and the little series you have is by far the best and most informative! I tried this for the first time earlier this week. I purchased the kit that comes with lashes, glue and remover. I tried applying them above my lash line and was semi-happy with the look but decided to take them off 2 days later. I'm excited to try your version. It looks so much more natural! I purchased more short and medium flares today as well as the dark glue when I visited my local Sally Beauty Supply. I'm a mom of 3, soon to be 4, boys! To be quite honest I'm looking for something I can wear when I'm in the hospital. I've always hated how hollow my eyes look in pictures when I'm not wearing makeup and I know there will be lots of picture taking when our new addition arrives so I'm hoping these will make me feel a bit more confident! Thanks for all the information! Subscribing!
+Deborah Nelson Your comment sincerely made my heart smile! Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! The last time I wore these was when I went in for my scheduled c-section for my little boy, who is now 9 months old (I can't believe it!!) They are the perfect way to look better without a lot of hassle. It was a very intense c-section and I was in the hospital for 4 days and my lashes still looked great! Goodluck to you and congratulations on your new baby! I hope all goes smoothly! 4 boys! 😍
I had permanent eyeliner tattooed on for the same reason of hating how my eyes looked without it. I even got it done free by a student about to graduate at the local school where they teach how to do it. It's been 10 years and only one spot on my inner lower lid has faded away and needs touched up. Even though they claim it only lasts 5 years. Maybe I'm just not in the sun as much, but I live in Arizona so we have plenty of it. I love it! They numb your eyes so you don't really feel it, its just strange and made me blink a lot to the dismay of the student. It does feel like you've been punched in the eyes for the 1st day or 2 after though. I looked like it too...lol congrats mama!
Probably the best & most informative DIY lash video. Most of the other girls doing these kinds of videos have no idea how to properly apply lashes, & end up ruining their natural lashes as a result :( I see no point in going in to do your lashes for $170-$300 sets with $100 refills every two weeks. Thank you!
Ivanna Humpalot Thank you so much for your feedback! It's a lot of info, and a long video, but I certainly didn't want to skimp on anything. These are our eyelashes!! So important to provide enough info! I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Smart cookie! I think I will be doing it this way too. Watch, I nail it 1st time & wish I'd used the 2 week glue. Yet if I start with the lashtite I'll mess up & wish I'd gone temp glue. Oh Murphy, will you ever leave me alone in this lifetime? LOL
Madalyn Williams Madalyn Williams, here is my reply!! I haven't had a chance to try the clear Lashtite adhesive, but I prefer to use the black one because I feel like it adds to my lashes and gives them a little bit of a "mascara" look. But when used lightly, it just dries perfectly with my lashes. I'm so sorry you've had issues with pulling your lashes out! I've been there! I glue mine underneath my lashes because I feel like it gives the most natural look. Others won't be able to see them when you close your eyes, nor will taller people be able to see them!! :) I just tight line the top rim of my eyes and it looks like I have naturally long lashes. With the clear adhesive, if it's drying and you can still see the glue, you may have to use it very sparingly and use single lashes, and line them up perfectly with your own natural lash. Single lashes are different from individuals, as they are just one think lash that you would glue onto one natural lash. I sincerely hope this helps! Let me know if you have other questions and BE SURE to watch my video on using LashFree, the adhesive remover made specifically to take off the LashTite glue! xo
Your Lashes look so stunning! I always putted on my single lashes with regular lash glue, so it took long time to put them on everyday. I wasn't sure if I should try this glue, but now definetely I am! Thank you so much for this video ♥
Very helpful tutorial girl, thank you! I'm about to do this! I'm so happy I stumbled upon your video! I have both types of these lashes and have been wanting to use the individual ones but have been overwhelmed with how long it would take me to apply them. Using them to kind of fill in is brilliant! Also, I think that applying them underneath the lash line is the way to go. I'm not a fan of how shiny and fake lashes can look when applied on top! It ruins the entire look! IMO of course :)
Yours is the prettiest and most accomplished eyelash application I have ever seen. I always try to copy you, but I've only been going for about 6 months, lol. It really can take a lot of time and patience to apply them, and I'm a slow baby! Even so, I can chuck a few on the outer corners now in about 5 minutes (provided I'm not tired or anything). But I've mainly used strip lash glue (underneath, of course). Now I've got that down, I'm going for my ardell lashtite application this weekend (tried it weeks ago, but just wanted to let my lashes rest for a while after a heavy lashing few weeks!) so I hope it goes well. Yes, I've got the lashfree remover! Thanks for your help. X
Interesting that you put them on the bottom. I’m going to try that! I’ve been having a hell of a time getting them positioned on the top, using the same products. As the instructions tell you to lol! I’m gonna try going from the bottom, hopefully that will work a little better! They come off so fast when I have them on the top, they don’t last more than a few days before they get messed up
Hi, I have a couple of questions, I was hoping you could answer: 1. How do you remove them? 2.And now that you're a pro at applying them, how are your lashes? Do they still fall out?
Can't wait to try out your method! I'm tired of putting fake lash (strips) almost everyday. Tried lash extensions too but it's not budget-friendly after awhile. Great instruction & demonstration! 😊
+Nicole Talavera Thanks so much for watching! I truly hope you love them as much as I do. Be sure to watch my video on how I remove the lashes with Lashfree by Ardell. I go into a lot of detail as well and show you how I remove some lashes. I unfortunately learned the very hard way when I couldn't find any videos on how to remove the Lashtite glue, and lost a LOT of lashes. So I uploaded a video on how I do it! xo
@bluecybermaid Hi! I haven't tried this glue with strip lashes. I was nervous about it because lashes grow at different paces, so that's why I use individual lashes instead. If you dont have individuals, just snip your strip lashes into multiple pieces and you'll be good to go! Goodluck!
Why not try watch the Lashify lash system. They are intended to go underneath your lash line. They are made for that purpose. Their bond is made for that purpose. They’re so easy to put on and they last for days and days and look completely natural
They look fantastic! So long, but still natural looking and just pristine! That's what I'm hoping to see mine look like when I come around the bend of the learning curve!
@@prettycasual I now have a much better appreciation for the art of placement! You can't just throw them any old way and have them come out even slightly nice. I even tried hard to pick the right ones in the right places and it still looked funky! So I see just how good you are at it! I'm getting better, but still using full strips since they take less effort...lol As long as it isn't obvious they're fake, that's all I really care about. I've been playing with cutting the individual clusters shorter and using them on the bottom. My bottom is so sparse! I'm having much better luck with that and it balances out the pronounced top lashes better, I think. It definitely makes for a WOW effect and very bright, wide open looking eyes. I wasn't sure at first if it would be good.
Very informative!! Thanks for sharing!! I'm a lash girl too, but sadly I'm allergic to lash extension adheasive so I've been wanting to try this diy with the lashtite adhesive 😄
Love your lashes!!!! Ive tried about 5 applying them myself And i keep getting this awful glue clumps and end up taking them all off because I personally dont like the clumps Any tips for that?
Alanah Targaryen Everytime I’ve used this glue and other similar methods with this glue it doesn’t last more than a day. I could take them off so easily with no remover or anything. Is there another better long lasting glue safe to use at home? How long does this last?
This video is amazing I've seen quite a few but you really give every bit of detail and it give decent peice of mind 😊 thank you, also your voice is soooo nice ❤️
Hey I love this video, very informative, but Im still wondering if you place them under the lashes and if you individually put them on each lash like regular eyelash extensions
Aw man I wish I would've seen this tutorial sooner!! I've tried this and I'm kinda scared to try it again because when I removed them with the oil that came in the kit I bought I lost a lot of my natural eyelashes:( I just wanted to know if you had anymore tips on how to remove them more gently and how you made your natural eyelashes grow back. Thank you!:)
+Rylee Smith I replied to your message, but for some reason it's not here. Sorry! I know exactly what you went through, because I did the same thing! I couldn't find any YT videos on how to remove them properly, so I posted one of my own! With a lot of practice and patience, I felt that I could provide a good amount of information and detail on how to and how NOT to remove Lashtite glue! Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/OKFXXnmDKCs/v-deo.html. Let me know if you have any questions!
Sydnee Mikumuren That's so strange! Some people have said that. The glue that I have dries quickly so I have to work fast. Do you have the clear glue or the dark glue that looks like black tar?
@@prettycasual i have the one that looks like tar. it does not hold my falsies. i have done this three times and they still come off. i put it on the top of my lashes, close to the base. don't know what i'm doing wrong
+Alexis Wow, thank you so much! I bought the single lashes in the video off of Amazon. You can search "Single Lashes". Good luck! Be sure to watch my video on how to remove them using Lashfree so you don't completely ruin your natural lashes! 😊 ua-cam.com/video/OKFXXnmDKCs/v-deo.html
Every time I try to put on individual lashes, none of the glues I’ve bought actually stick and it was sad because I used at least 30 dollars for glue...that doesn’t work...
Hi! Thank you so much for watching! I also uploaded a video on how I remove my false lashes and Lashtite Glue, using Ardell's Lashfree solution. Definitely watch it because the stuff burns so much, but figured out a way to use it carefully. Took me a few tries (which was awful), but worth it if I could help at least one person! Hope it helps you!
Hi! Okay so a few things. I've done these lashes twice now & it sadly pulled out most of mine so I conditioned them & they're healthy again so I'm ready to try again! But I had a few questions. Does the black lashtite glue work better than the clear? I don't know if I used too much or what but the clear once it tried it was completely noticeable to people taller than me (which is everyone) & I hated it! & two, should I apply these on top of my lashes or underneath? Please help!!
Hi! So weird! I replied to your comment months ago, but I don't see it here. Did you ever see one from me? If not, I will go ahead and leave my reply for you!
The clear one dries white and can bulk on your lashes when you put too much glue on in my opinion. To safely take them off I suggest use coconut oil instead of the remover ardell provides its pretty much useless. Try the dark glue instead and try to apply the lashes to one lash at a time. Also applying on top does make it more noticeable in my opinion it’s much easier to apply it underneath so nobody sees it just don’t apply it on the skin make sure it’s only on the lash
I have this glue but it's not sticking do u have to wait a moment?? I put it on a foil and it got tacky and dried up fine but idk why it wasn't working for my lashes
You look amazing the beautiful eyelashes! I found this very helpful, as well as the glue removal video. Do you have a video where it shows up close from start to finish on how you apply them? I would think applying them on top versus underneath my natural lashes would be easier, but I don't know. I saw you mention that you apply them underneath for a more natural look but when you applied the long one on the outer corner of your eye, it looks like you placed it on top...hope that makes sense. Thank you for sharing your videos! I'm going to try this!
+Kathya Kalinine Hi! Thank you so much for watching & for such kind words! I did place the lash on top, but it's hard to tell at the angle I was at on camera. With the single lashes, you can put them on top no problem. With the individual ones, it can be more noticeable when they're on top. I plan on filming a video of me applying a fresh new full set of eyelash extensions using Lashtite, from start to finish. I was giving my lashes a rest and removed all of them, and then recently I was offered a free set of professional eyelash extensions. So after these come off, I will be able to film the video! Goodluck with applying your lashes! Let me know it goes! If you're on Instagram and can post a pic, tag me @prettycasualcoco! xo
Hi there. How do you have them on and the glue won't kind of spread out. You know later you can see those glue expand, you know what I meant? I closed my eyes and kind of seeing those glue shiny. It doesn't look cool that way. How do you apply on and not having those shiny show? Thank you
Hi, I've been doing this method for a few weeks now and I love it. I've gotten pretty comfortable with the application and removal process. My only issue is that after a few days of being on, the glue from the lashes (the sticky substance that the factory uses to adhere the lashes to the tray) turn a whiteish color and look gunky under my lashes. Do you have this issue? For this reason, I remove the lashes every 4 days or so but I'd rather keep them on for a week (at least) if I could! Any tips to combat this would be greatly appreciated. :)
I have this glue and tried it on single lashes yo I seriously struggled removing the lashes I used water omg the lash didn't come tried to steam my face using a bucket of hot water and cover my face with a towel so that the lashes come out but didn't work that when I freak out yo then apply olive oil on on my eye rubbing for couple of minutes finally the lashes came out but now I have hope to try this glue on individual lashes only thank you so much but plz tell me how did the lashes came out after using this glue
Hi! You must use an eyelash glue remover. That's the only thing that will work without damaging your lashes. They glide off in minutes! Here is my video showing you how I do it, and you'll find a link to the product I used from Amazon in the description box! Hope this helps ♥️ ua-cam.com/video/hqq0dOseooQ/v-deo.html
Joyce Ko, I am unable to click on a reply button to answer your question! I hope you get this message! I got my individual lashes from www.shopmissa.com!
+st marine Hi! This glue only works when attaching false lashes directly to your natural lash. A tiny amount of glue is all you need. It doesn't adhere to the skin like regular lash glue. Hope this helps! Be sure to watch my video on how to remove them using Ardell's Lashfree.
This was so interesting & informative. I totally want to try this out when I get the courage. I got eyelash extensions for my wedding that cost a bunch and this seems like such a great alternative. You look amazing with them on!! Btw, loving the ring light effect :)
Stephienese I absolutely love using this glue! I get compliments all the time and people can't believe that I do them myself. I'm waiting for another set of individual lashes to come in so I can put them on and then do a tutorial on how I remove them. It's so important to learn how to remove them, or else you will have less lashes than you started with! Ouch!
I have never applied false lashes of any kind. Do you recommend trying regular lash glue on individual lashes to practice with, rather than a waterproof one, like Ardell's Lashtite Glue, for a beginner? I am afraid I will make too many mistakes just starting off and pull out my lashes. I know I want to use individual short lashes and have the Ardell lashes purchased. I am looking at glue now on Amazon but have not purchased it yet. Any advice for a beginner?
Nancy Hodgeson YES, practice first with regular eyelash glue and both strip and individual false lashes. The more practice you have, the better. I've been wearing false lashes forever, and even with as much practice I've had, I ripped out my natural lashes using this semi-permanent glue.
Can you swim or submerge your face in water with these on? I am going on vacation soon and I am really interested in using these! Thanks for such an informative video?
+Johanna Stafford Hi! Yes, I was able to swim and/or submerge my face in water when wearing these. Just be careful not to tug or pull when drying your face and your lashes off. These are perfect for vacation. I would always apply a set before I went somewhere for a vacay! Just be sure to watch my video on how to remove them properly: ua-cam.com/video/OKFXXnmDKCs/v-deo.html. Goodluck and have fun on your vacation!
jiji S Hi! They will be fine as long as you don't rub your lashes. the last time I wore these was when I was going in for a schedule c-section for my son's birth. I didn't want to look haggard in photos and it was the easiest way to look pulled together with minimal effort. they lasted throughout the whole ordeal and while I stayed in the hospital for 4 days. you just have to be careful when touching your eyes or cleaning your face. goodluck!
I just applied my very first individual lashes last night! They stayed on until I got in the shower this morning, some of the lashes came off. Have you experienced that before? Do you think I just didn't put enough glue for those that came off? I didn't even feel them come off, so I didn't lose any of my own lashes which is a good thing I guess.
Hi! It's best not to get your lashes wet at least 24 hours after you apply them with this glue. Try replying the lashes again in the areas where they have fallen off, and wait a whole day until you get them wet. For me, even after 24 hours of using this glue, I try my best to not have water from the shower head fall directly onto my false lashes. This will ensure that they stay on longer. I use a wash cloth instead and wipe around my eyes. I hope this helps!! Let me know!
+Pretty Casual I will give it a try again. Thank you so much! I just wanted to say I tried the wunderbrow also because of your video and I love the results!!! Both the brows and lashes will be perfect for my cruise in 2 weeks!
So where exact do you put the lashes? On the waterline or on the eyelashes? I've been using individual lashes with regular strip lashes glue underneath my lashes just between the root of my lashes and the waterline, so it's basically on my skin. I'm worried that using a semi-permanent glue on your skin can be harmful. Please let me know if you actually use it on the skin or the lashes cos I'm really considering doing this!🙌
+BettyHaiduoWang Hi! I used this glue to adhere the single lash to the underside of my natural lash, not on my skin. This stuff isn't like regular lash glue. It doesn't adhere to the skin at all, and will only stick to your actual eyelash. Goodluck!
+SuAlteza92 Hi! No, individuals are not reusable. And I've found that only Ardell's Lashfree works...the hard way. I tried using oils and such are first, only to do damage to my lashes. Here is my tutorial on how I remove them: ua-cam.com/video/OKFXXnmDKCs/v-deo.html Goodluck!
can I also put more lashes on top of each other for a more dramatic look? I love the look of very full and dramatic lashes but I'm not sure if I can achieve this look with individual lashes, what do you think?
Absolutely! You can stack them either on top or underneath. You can also stack the lashes first, and then apply them to your lashes. I do it for a more full look, too!
+XROSEAY Hi! I have been able to wear these under water, you just have to be very careful when drying your face afterwards. If you rub your eyes, you can partially detach some lashes and they won't lay straight. Or worse, you could rip your natural lashes off. I've even worn these while showering, underneath the running shower head and they've stayed put. It will also depend on how well you do with gluing them onto your natural lashes.
I bought this glue in Amazon the first bottle it wouldn’t stick at all so I bought another and it’s the same! Not sure what I’m doing wrong :(( I’m so sad I really wanted to do this! I’m placing it on the lash, drying it with a fan but still I can simply brush them off 🥲
how do you remove lashtite glue from under your eyelashes? i got the dark bottle and omg i can't get my eyelash clusters off. i've had them on for like 3 days now. i've tried a bowl of water and it's steam and i've tried vaseline, but i don't have eyelash remover or olive oil or even coconut oil. is there any other way to get them off?
Kkhjkjhkjb Kkjhyvccc Hi! The only way I've been able to remove them is using Lashfree. An adhesive remover made specifically for Lashtite! Here is my tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/OKFXXnmDKCs/v-deo.html Goodluck, dear!
Hope you still reply to these. How and why does this glue become very sticky on lashes a few days after application? I mean i wake up and all day it keeps sticking to bottom lashes i mean not getting caught i mean if i actually touch with fingers its sticky tacky. Cleaning doesnt do anything. Its not a bad batch unless every bottle over the years is a bad batch. How do you stop this? If it helps i have a double lash line i mean i have more than 4 rows of lashes a lot and very coarse hairs if that sheds light.
That's so unusual! I have never had that happen to me, so I'm not sure how I can help troubleshoot the issue. I'm so sorry! I've had the same bottle for years, and I've also used the clear formula and never had the glue turn sticky on me. Only question I can think of is whether your lashes and eyelids are completely clean and clear of any products, lotions, oils, serums, etc. I plan on doing another DIY eyelash extension video using a different glue besides the Ardell one. I hope you stay tuned!
oh i also wanted to ask, or if anybody can answer me . do you you curl your lashes before you put them on? because my lashes go straight down.. and im nervous that if i dont curl my own lashes and decide to put these on they are gonna go straight down?
+Fabiola Odet Zubia Yes, I have curled my lashes beforehand. The faux single lashes are curved, so it would be an easier application if you curled your natural lashes prior!
Thank you for such a detailed walk through. I can't wait to try it. I normally use the strips and have been your many years. I want to try individuals because they look natural. Question: are those your natural nails?! I love them. I only ask because I'm renewing my vows next month and that's the look in going for. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Hi! Thanks so much for watching! No, these were acrylic nails. I don't have them anymore. But when I did, I used to get them short so they looked more natural. Congratulations on renewing your vows! I apologize if you're getting this message after your ceremony. I thought I replied to your comment from my phone but I don't see it here.
What are you using you take off your eyelashes? Because this glue is semi-permanent. It will not come off with make up remover are just soap and water. So, I really want to know what u use. Besides the glue remover. That has to b another way. 😩
do u place it above your natural lashes on the last line or do you please ship between your lashes lol like I’m just confused where to place the false lash 😂❤️
Hi! You can place the false lash on top of your natural lash, or underneath, depending on how comfortable you are. I've worn them both and it takes a bit of practice to place them underneath, but it looks more natural. I have a full Q&A video on diy lash extensions. Hope it helps! ua-cam.com/video/afxusxJh1MQ/v-deo.html
Thank you so so much for this video! I am on the hunt for some good individual lashes ! You mentioned a website at the end, but didn't quite catch what you said (chumusay?) Could you please leave a link? :-) Thank you!
Oh, I did reply, but I had to create a new comment and wasn't able to reply to tour direct message. Did you see it? If not, here is the website, www.shopmissa.com. :)
+Rachel Steele I rely on wet cotton swabs or Q-Tips! They are your best friend when working around eyelash extensions. Just make sure they are WET and not dry. The dry fibers will latch onto your lashes and pull them right off (along with your natural lashes) if you're not careful. If I'm feeling like my eyes need a good rinsing, I go ahead and cup both of my hands under the sink and splash water over my face, even my eyes and blink a bunch of times to get water in and around them. I very delicately dry my eyes with a small face towel. I hope this helps!
Not a silly question! I try to avoid wearing mascara in order to keep the lashes fresh & "healthy". But, if I do decide to wear mascara, I use L'Oréal's Double Extend. It very easy to take off with a light face cleanser & water. I do NOT curl them at all. That will ruin the lash extensions. Hope this helps!
can you explain why doing this would pull out your real eyelashes? obviously if you're rough and tugging at them but why are people saying that doing this ruined their lashes?
Hi! This glue isn't very forgiving, at all. When trying to remove the false individual lashes, if the Lashtite glue hasn't completely dissolved, sometimes even the smallest tug will pull out your natural lash. This has happened to me. This glue is VERY strong, so if you are not careful and patient when removing it, you can either pull out or break your natural lashes.
+Pretty Casual So I have experince with using this particular adhesive with individual lashes but only problem was if I squeezed my eyes shut I could feel the glue due to the fact of it hardening when it dries....now I wear eyelash extensions & can't feel anything at all but we know the upkeep can be a bit pricey so my question is do u feel them on when using the lashtite glue or maybe I was using too much...because I'm thinking about going back to doing my own individual lashes & doing them how you did with cluster individuals & the actual extensions......
+Gorgeous_ Re Hi! I personally didn't feel the glue or the false lashes after I applied them. It may be because I used very little Lashtite glue. I learned that I only needed to use a very little amount of Lashtite glue to adhere the false lashes to my natural lashes. Anytime I used too much, you could I either see it or it was much too difficult to remove. I also have a video using Lashfree adhesive remover: ua-cam.com/video/OKFXXnmDKCs/v-deo.html. Goodluck!
Pretty Casual Ok thanks I applied them ystdy but I used the Ardell lash tite glue in the small glass bottle & this time I used very little glue and I can't feel that annoying feeling so yes a small bit of glue definitely is all needed thnx for responding😉
This can last for a few days, a week, or even 2 weeks. It all depends on how well you take care of your lashes after you use this glue. Sometimes if I didn't secure an individual lash well, it will come off after a day or 2, but I just glue it back on. But for the most part, they all stay on pretty well. You don't want to get your lashes wet for at least 24 hours after you use this glue. If the individual lashes are still on after a week or 2, and your natural lashes have grown a little, the false lashes can start to kind of look floppy. That's a good time to take them off. I'm going to be uploading a tutorial on how to remove them properly, so be sure to subscribe or check back in a few weeks! xo
Hi! I apply the false lash with the Lashtite glue to my natural lashes. I have read from others that this glue does not adhere to your skin, like regular eyelash glue. I use a very small amount on each false invididual lash. Hope this helps!
Hi! I haven't been in the ocean while wearing these, but I have been in the pool and they help up nicely. Even in the shower, under the running water from the shower head, they stayed on. Just be very gentle when drying your face with a towel. Any lashes that need to be replaced because they've grown out a bit will sometimes start to turn. To be extra careful out of the shower, I have used a blow dryer on low to dry them. Goodluck!
Hi! Yes, I do, but at the moment I am giving my lashes a break. I like to take some time off to give my lashes a rest and let them grow out more. The last time I did it was about 6 months ago.
Pretty Casual I'm wondering if you've ever tried 100% Castor Oil on the regular using a clean mascara wand to grow out your lashes, naturally? If not, try it. Rakes a bit of time but so worth it. I would recommend this and is love to hear if it worked for you. I'm trying it on my brows now...I'm noticing new growth too on my patchy areas....thought I'd share with you, incase you'd be interested :)
I'm not familiar with the difference. Are the bottles the same, but have different formulas? The one I used is called LashTite Glue by Ardell and it's considered semi-permanent glue. It is VERY hard to take off and you need to use their LashFree adhesive remover to take them off.
+Sari B Sorry for the delay. Yes, you're right. Clusters. I've also used individual or single lashes, which is just one hair to glue on. There are also "Y" lashes, which are 2 single lashes that you attach to one of your natural lashes.
Hey! I have bought the same brand of your glue, but the transparent one and I've tried lots of time to use it but it just doenst stick!!!!! I put it on a normal quantity, and a second later its already falling off :( Am I doing anything wrong?
That's strange! I haven't tried the clear one, but I will order it & kind of "troubleshoot" for you! (I will post it soon!) Might be obvious, but are you gluing it to your skin or your actual eyelashes? I find that this stuff doesn't glue well to my skin, but I have to adhere it to my eyelashes.
Aleida Espinoza Wow, that's so strange. I do these semipermanent eyelashes about once a month with this glue and have never had an issue with it sticking. I have to use the Ardell Lashfree to remove it because it doesn't come loose without it. Unfortunately, I've lost lashes because of it. This might be an obvious question, but where are you glueing your eyelashes? Along your eyelid skin or actual eyelash hairs? If you try to use this glue with your "strip" lashes, you'll have to glue them on your eyelash hairs and not on your skin. I find that this glue doesn't stick at all on the skin. Just as if you were to get "eyelash extensions" professionally done, they glue the lashes directly onto your eyelash hairs. Hope this helps!!!
Pretty Casual Well, I bought my first and only pair of false eyelashes and I thought all glues worked the same, so I bought that one because it was the cheapest. But now that you mention it, I guess it doesn't work because I'm not using individual lashes, so I actually have to stick the ones I use on my skin. I really thought individual eyelashes glue was the same as a normal eyelashes one. Now that I know why it isn't working, I still have one question left. Is it normal that the glue burns me? I feel it kinda burns my eye when I try to use it in my skin. My eye doesn't turn red or irritated but it just feels so weird. Like taking a cotton ball with alcohol and putting it right in front of my eye. Well, with the glue it's even stronger. So if I start using it with individual eyelashes and in the RIGHT WAY as you mentioned, I think it'll be worse to me. Should I stop using it?
Aleida Espinoza Hi! I'm sorry you're having a lot of trouble! It's definitely going to burn with this glue. It might burn more because of the strength or potency that this glue has. If you're a beginner, I'd suggest hold onto this glue until further and use a regular eyelash adhesive for now. Ardell makes a good regular lash glue, and so does Duo. Both you can find at almost any store that sells cosmetics. This Lashtite glue is semipermanent. So your lashes will actually stay on for upto a week, but then you'll need to remove them using Ardell's special Lashtite glue, which burns EVEN MORE than the glue! Ouch!! In the future, if you wanted to use the Lashtite glue with your strip lashes, all you'd have to do is cut your strip lashes into multiple sections and adhere them to the very base of your natural lashes (not your skin). Again, this is for when you're very comfortable with putting on and wearing lashes. And again, you'll have to remove them using the Lashfree remover. I have a tutorial on that, too! Hope this helps my dear! xox
A small amount of glue needs to be placed on foil or a small mirror of piece of glass. Gluing the lash flare directly from the bottle of glue will contaminate the bottle of glue.
But does it really matter if you're the only one using them?
Exactly. She explained it so well.
You look like the Mother of Emily in Pretty Little Liars TV series 😱😍
:) I've been getting that since I was a kid, ever since she was in the movie, "North Shore"! Thank you!
She does 😱 just for s second I thought it was Emily’s mom 😍
yes
Yo foreal lol
I thought she was her. ☺️
when i practice i use regular lash glue for strip lashes. using like the tiniest amount that way i can take them off from the practice session
Scream Queen This is so smart!! 🙌
This is a fantastic idea and EXACTLY what I’m going to do!
Great idea.
Let me know if you have other questions and BE SURE to watch my video on using LashFree, the adhesive remover made specifically to take off the LashTite glue! xo
Let me know how it goes! Be sure to watch my video on LashFree Adhesive Remover! ua-cam.com/video/OKFXXnmDKCs/v-deo.html
Omg I'm watching this as I'm doing it and u make it look so easy ,I'm having a hard time even putting one
Oh no! I hope you have been able to get better at it!
Your voice is so soothing. Lol love it
Mariah Jimenez 🙊 Thank you, that's sweet!
Interesting that you put them on the bottom. I’m going to try that! I’ve been having a hell of a time getting them positioned on the top, using the same products. As the instructions tell you to lol! I’m gonna try going from the bottom, hopefully that will work a little better! They come off so fast when I have them on the top, they don’t last more than a few days before they get messed up
Hi, I have a couple of questions, I was hoping you could answer:
1. How do you remove them?
2.And now that you're a pro at applying them, how are your lashes? Do they still fall out?
You can remove semi- permanent lashes gently with oil based removers or, what I find best is, facial oil.
When I got them done professionally, I used coconut to loosen the glue. You have to be very gentle and take a break from doing it.
I don't know how to reply back, but I did see your comment!! thank you so much. 😊😊
Goodluck!
Pretty Casual that's smart!
Oh I never though of that. So smart.
Why not try watch the Lashify lash system. They are intended to go underneath your lash line. They are made for that purpose. Their bond is made for that purpose. They’re so easy to put on and they last for days and days and look completely natural
Awesome, awesome tutorial. Very specific and great advice. I now feel confident giving it a try. Thank you!
Thank you so much! Goodluck, Sweetie! I'll be uploading a "removal" tutorial using the Ardell Lashtite Adhesive Remover soon. xo
They look fantastic! So long, but still natural looking and just pristine! That's what I'm hoping to see mine look like when I come around the bend of the learning curve!
Thank you so much for watching! I hope you can get the hang of it!
Thank you for not having that annoying Guru UA-camr attitude
Very informative!! Thanks for sharing!! I'm a lash girl too, but sadly I'm allergic to lash extension adheasive so I've been wanting to try this diy with the lashtite adhesive 😄
Love your lashes!!!! Ive tried about 5 applying them myself
And i keep getting this awful glue clumps and end up taking them all off because I personally dont like the clumps
Any tips for that?
Alanah Targaryen
Everytime I’ve used this glue and other similar methods with this glue it doesn’t last more than a day. I could take them off so easily with no remover or anything. Is there another better long lasting glue safe to use at home? How long does this last?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! So helpful!
This video is amazing I've seen quite a few but you really give every bit of detail and it give decent peice of mind 😊 thank you, also your voice is soooo nice ❤️
You just helped me start my day with the sweetest comment, thank you!! ❤️
Is the glue usually tacky? I don’t know if I got a bad batch :( but it’s so tacky I hate it
Hey I love this video, very informative, but Im still wondering if you place them under the lashes and if you individually put them on each lash like regular eyelash extensions
Hi, no I don't separate my natural lashes to expose a single lash to place the false individual lash on. (Hope that makes sense!)
Pretty Casual so no need to separate lashes and put them on an individual lash? Sorry still kinda confused lol
This is such a calming video and great and thorough explanations
Let me know if you have any questions!
the glue takes so long to dry and hardly sticks.. :/
You have to apply the fake lash to your real lash. It will not stick to your skin. That’s probably why it didn’t work, you weren’t doing it correctly
@@cheythequeen9844 I think this is what I am doing wrong 🤔
This is great if you have no lashes. But if you already have good lashes but want length don’t do it. Be prepared to lose a lot of your own lashes.
Wow I have the exact same things pink tweezers, short medium and individual lashes and the glue 💞 needed some inspiration thanks
Hi! I loved your video! does this glue sting the eye? is its duration good?
This is one of the best lash videos I have seen! Where did you get the single lashes at? I think those are what really complete the look!
Yours look great! Can you refill them after a week or do you have to get them all out?
What is the name of the individual lashes that you used in this video? I love it. Thanks for sharing.
Hello I loved your video so much good information just one question How do you take the ardell product from your natural eyelashes
Loved this tutorial! It's very informative.
moileti89 Thank you so much! I'm editing my video that I shot of how to remove it with LashFree. Will be posting soon!
I have this glue but it's not sticking do u have to wait a moment?? I put it on a foil and it got tacky and dried up fine but idk why it wasn't working for my lashes
Girl same. Tried it twice, the last time I thought it took but I woke up with no lashes lol
Do you have a video on how to remove these lashes?
I do! ua-cam.com/video/hqq0dOseooQ/v-deo.html
Omg you are just so beautiful and stunning!!!
You look amazing with the beautiful lashes, that was supposed to say!
If you're on Instagram and can post a pic, tag me @prettycasualcoco! xo
I couldn’t get the lashes to stick any idea what I was doing wrong please ?
+H Lee Hi! I do have the same issue. If I don't take off my false lashes, I usually hide the white parts with liquid eyeliner. Hope this helps!
+Pretty Casual - thanks!
Hope this helps ♥️
ua-cam.com/video/hqq0dOseooQ/v-deo.html
So just to be clear, do you add all your lashes from the bottom and not on top of the lash hairs??
Is there a way to remove the glue from the clusters so you can reuse them?
Joyce Ko, I am unable to click on a reply button to answer your question! I hope you get this message!
I got my individual lashes from www.shopmissa.com!
+Pretty Casual hey do I lay the lash on my own lash or on the eye lid skin lash line?
+st marine Hi! This glue only works when attaching false lashes directly to your natural lash. A tiny amount of glue is all you need. It doesn't adhere to the skin like regular lash glue. Hope this helps! Be sure to watch my video on how to remove them using Ardell's Lashfree.
hi! does this glue burn your eyes? i know some glues are really strong, but my eyes are sensitive to the fumes.
If you get this close enough to your eyes, I personally think it burns. This stuff is potent and not like regular lash glue.
i love red cherry clusters they only come in medium n short at my so good beauty supply i will purchase via the site thanks
Ouch!
Pretty Casual OMG yes please, that would be so helpful. When I was taking my lash extensions off they ripped my real ones out :( lol
Hola soy de Venezuela felicidades aprendí muchooooo me encanto
How many single lashes do you put per eye (if you're only using single lashes and not clusters)?
Lashes look so pretty! Im going to try!💖💖💖💖💖
What if you cry with them on? Do they last for two or three days no matter what? Thank you in advance
jiji S Hi! They will be fine as long as you don't rub your lashes. the last time I wore these was when I was going in for a schedule c-section for my son's birth. I didn't want to look haggard in photos and it was the easiest way to look pulled together with minimal effort. they lasted throughout the whole ordeal and while I stayed in the hospital for 4 days. you just have to be careful when touching your eyes or cleaning your face. goodluck!
Pretty Casual thnx for the reply!!! God bless
It doesn't dry for me, what am I doing wrong?
Goodluck!
2 questions... are individuals reusable? And do you use a special product to remove the lashes or just oil?
+SuAlteza92 Hi! No, individuals are not reusable. And I've found that only Ardell's Lashfree works...the hard way. I tried using oils and such are first, only to do damage to my lashes. Here is my tutorial on how I remove them: ua-cam.com/video/OKFXXnmDKCs/v-deo.html Goodluck!
Every time I try to do this it ends up looking like a spider attacked my eyes.. 😅
😂I hope it gets better with practice!
My lash tite glue isnt sticking I can pull on it and it will fall out what am I doing wrong
Your nails are gorgeous!
Thank you! I had them done in this video...something I haven’t done in a while 😁
can I also put more lashes on top of each other for a more dramatic look? I love the look of very full and dramatic lashes but I'm not sure if I can achieve this look with individual lashes, what do you think?
Absolutely! You can stack them either on top or underneath. You can also stack the lashes first, and then apply them to your lashes. I do it for a more full look, too!
Be sure to watch my video on how to remove this glue!
hey just quick question can you go swimming with the lashes, is the glue that strong because i will be going on vacation soon
Thank you and i'll just have to be careful and hope for the best!
I bought this glue in Amazon the first bottle it wouldn’t stick at all so I bought another and it’s the same! Not sure what I’m doing wrong :(( I’m so sad I really wanted to do this! I’m placing it on the lash, drying it with a fan but still I can simply brush them off 🥲
That’s a bummer! Some people have complained about the same thing. I’m not sure why this happens. Have you tried shaking the bottle well?
how do you remove lashtite glue from under your eyelashes? i got the dark bottle and omg i can't get my eyelash clusters off. i've had them on for like 3 days now. i've tried a bowl of water and it's steam and i've tried vaseline, but i don't have eyelash remover or olive oil or even coconut oil. is there any other way to get them off?
Kkhjkjhkjb Kkjhyvccc Hi! The only way I've been able to remove them is using Lashfree. An adhesive remover made specifically for Lashtite! Here is my tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/OKFXXnmDKCs/v-deo.html
Goodluck, dear!
Your eyes look like Arianas Grande 😋💕
oh i also wanted to ask, or if anybody can answer me . do you you curl your lashes before you put them on? because my lashes go straight down.. and im nervous that if i dont curl my own lashes and decide to put these on they are gonna go straight down?
+Fabiola Odet Zubia Yes, I have curled my lashes beforehand. The faux single lashes are curved, so it would be an easier application if you curled your natural lashes prior!
how long do the lashes last? 💖
Would they last for swimming?
what curl type are your flare lashes and where'd you get them from exactly?
The single lashes I got from shopmissa.com. The individual lashes I bought off Amazon.com, and they are C curl. Hope this helps!
Great and informative video. Thank You!
What are you using you take off your eyelashes? Because this glue is semi-permanent. It will not come off with make up remover are just soap and water. So, I really want to know what u use. Besides the glue remover. That has to b another way. 😩
Hello did this glue ruin your natural eyelashes?
do u place it above your natural lashes on the last line or do you please ship between your lashes lol like I’m just confused where to place the false lash 😂❤️
Hi there! I replied to your comment but I don't see it here. So weird. I will go ahead and leave the link in the description box!
Oh, I did reply, but I had to create a new comment and wasn't able to reply to tour direct message. Did you see it? If not, here is the website, www.shopmissa.com. :)
how do you maintain keeping them clean like from morning eye gunk or just eye gunk in general?
+Rachel Steele I rely on wet cotton swabs or Q-Tips! They are your best friend when working around eyelash extensions. Just make sure they are WET and not dry. The dry fibers will latch onto your lashes and pull them right off (along with your natural lashes) if you're not careful. If I'm feeling like my eyes need a good rinsing, I go ahead and cup both of my hands under the sink and splash water over my face, even my eyes and blink a bunch of times to get water in and around them. I very delicately dry my eyes with a small face towel. I hope this helps!
Silly question
Do you wear mascara after?
And curl the eyelashes?
Not a silly question! I try to avoid wearing mascara in order to keep the lashes fresh & "healthy". But, if I do decide to wear mascara, I use L'Oréal's Double Extend. It very easy to take off with a light face cleanser & water. I do NOT curl them at all. That will ruin the lash extensions. Hope this helps!
I bought the same glue for 5 dollors and im kinda worried that my eye lashes will fall off
Thank you for your video :) Can you use this glue with Russian fans?
I'm sure you can use this method with any type of individual lashes. I have used "Y" lashes and it worked out great!
Do you touch your eye skin with the individual lash with glue?
Hi, no I don't. This glue adheres directly into your natural lash. Hope this helps!
I recently uploaded a full Q&A about DIY Eyelash Extensions on my channel if it will help answer anymore questions you may have.
How long are the lashes going to last if I'm going to use the glue which comes with the lashes ? 😲😁
Hi! Which lashes and glue do you have? When doing this video, I had only purchased the glue on Amazon and used some lashes from shopmissa.com.
can you explain why doing this would pull out your real eyelashes? obviously if you're rough and tugging at them but why are people saying that doing this ruined their lashes?
Goodluck!
Pretty Casual Ok thanks I applied them ystdy but I used the Ardell lash tite glue in the small glass bottle & this time I used very little glue and I can't feel that annoying feeling so yes a small bit of glue definitely is all needed thnx for responding😉
how would i remove this glue
I think using baby / coconut oil would help, or an oil based makeup remover x
how long does this adhesive last for?
This can last for a few days, a week, or even 2 weeks. It all depends on how well you take care of your lashes after you use this glue. Sometimes if I didn't secure an individual lash well, it will come off after a day or 2, but I just glue it back on. But for the most part, they all stay on pretty well. You don't want to get your lashes wet for at least 24 hours after you use this glue. If the individual lashes are still on after a week or 2, and your natural lashes have grown a little, the false lashes can start to kind of look floppy. That's a good time to take them off. I'm going to be uploading a tutorial on how to remove them properly, so be sure to subscribe or check back in a few weeks! xo
I have the 3.5ml but it doesn’t stick
You are very thoughtful.
Hello! Do u apply the lashes on Ur real lashes? Or on the lid? Thank you!
Hi! I apply the false lash with the Lashtite glue to my natural lashes. I have read from others that this glue does not adhere to your skin, like regular eyelash glue. I use a very small amount on each false invididual lash. Hope this helps!
You mentioned vacation.
Would these hold up in a pool or the ocean?
Goodluck!
Do you still do this method?
Pretty Casual is it actually bad for your natural lashes? I don't want to do any permanent damages
is this the soft glue or the hard glue? I've been looking for the soft glue for individual lashes. The hard glue is very hard to take the lashes off.
I'm not familiar with the difference. Are the bottles the same, but have different formulas? The one I used is called LashTite Glue by Ardell and it's considered semi-permanent glue. It is VERY hard to take off and you need to use their LashFree adhesive remover to take them off.
How much does the lashtite cost
katie Fisher It's around $5-$7 on Amazon.com
What are the second package of lashes u gave single lashes??? Single lashes? Better known as?
Latrice Smalls they are called "clusters"
+Sari B Sorry for the delay. Yes, you're right. Clusters. I've also used individual or single lashes, which is just one hair to glue on. There are also "Y" lashes, which are 2 single lashes that you attach to one of your natural lashes.
How long do the lashes last
Carol Camuzzo I bought the same she uses in the video and it doesn't stick either! I'm sick of trying!
Hope this helps my dear! xox
