@reillyevan Indeed, not bad -- and of couse I meant to say that it did NOT seem to be giving anything up to the Loar. I have a regular 2002 F-5 Fern (Roberts) and I have had a chance to play it along side a Loar, several Gilchrists, a Red Diamond and a Kimble. There is nothing lacking from an F-5 Fern -- in terms of sound and tone. Mojo? I have no idea about that! (
Great picking! -- especially that high part on the second time through. Also that Loar really sounds great but the other mandolin is obvious a Gibson as well? And to my earit does seem to be giving up anything to the Loar really -- what is -- a DMM? -- Whatever this is my new favorite video.
Ha just re-reading my early post and listening to this again -- I MEANT to say the other mandolin does NOT seem any less tuneful than that Loar F5. So is it another Loar?
You guys rip. Lovely.
