Mahindra Scorpio is also used in the areas in Ladakh and old scorpio is used in patrolling in Leh and jamu mahindra rakshak (mahindra jeep/old thar) is also in use and very few but bolaro is also present in military police and in army as staff car or as support car for army officials from level 4 to level 6

Because royal Enfield bike is suitable for all kinds of roads and it is also a powerful bike which can help the army officers to ride it without any satrain. And take the officers even where the jeeps can't go and helps the officers to monitor the border. Enfield bike is made of full metal which increases the life time and also has a low maintenance, which is best for Army

Not all the vehicles shown here are used by Indian army. They may be used by Indian armed forces and other para military forces but not all of them are used by army.
*Gurkha was never part of army
*Pajero discountinued by army in 2016 due to high maintenance.
*Windy and Mahindra mm550 both are replaced by gypsy.
