Angus Young has always been the lead guitarist for AC/DC, from their first album through today. All the incredible riffs you hear is Angus. His brother Malcolm Young plays rhythm guitar. Dave Evans was the initial singer back in 1973 when the band formed, but was soon replaced by Bon Scott by the time the first album "High Voltage" was released in 1975. Bon Scott died in February 1980 and replaced by new singer...Brian Johnson as the "Back in Black" album was released in July 1980.
No, no, no! Angus was never playing the riffs. As a matter of fact, I don't think he ever created on of them. His brother on the rhythm guitar created and played all the riffs. Rhythm guitarists are responsible for most riffs in a band when there is a rhythm guitarist. Malcom was always better than Angus.
@@teamdata YOU are the one who is incorrect. The brothers were a team who created their riffs together. Angus has always played lead, and Malcolm rhythm, but the riffs were a product of both.
@@teamdata You claim, "Malcolm was always better than Angus." The loving brothers always claimed that the other one was better, but there was obviously a reason that Malcolm, the elder, made Angus the lead.
Actually Malcolm played lead on a few songs (I think 3 total) on the first couple of albums. After that, they knew Angus was the man and he played lead on everything since then. Don't feel bad for Malcom. He's generally considered the greatest rhythm guitarist in the history of rock. Apologies to Keith Richards, but - Hey! - it's true.
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap was released in September 1976. AC/DC has had two lead singers, and fans tend to divide its history into the “Bon Scott era (1974-80)” and the “Brian Johnson era (1980-present)”. Most agree that lead guitarist Angus Young is the face of the band.
Angus and Malcolm started the band and their older brother was their manager for a little while and they brought on Bond Scott and the drummer. Their sister gave them their name or their aunt. I can’t remember which, but their name came from the back of a sewing machine because it said AC/DC current.
Great reaction to a fantastic band!!!! More please!!!! You need a little Bon Scott in your life!!! The first true AC/DC lead singer. Try the tune “If You Want Blood You Got It Official HD Video”. You won’t be disappointed. It’s from the mid 70’s. The lads have a fun side to them while they rock out 🎸 on one of their classics. So says Austin Tx. 😎🍸
In the 4th & 5th grade, our principal rock music before school started. I was listening to this and Another Brick in the Wall. I don't remember my principal, because I was never in trouble, but I want to thank them.
It Was Used As The main Song for a Australian Gangster Film in 2002 Called Dirty Deeds. The Film Stared Sam Niel , John Goodman , Brian Brown ,Toni Collette and a Young Sam Worthington it was based in the 70's. Its a great movie and this song is played in it when shit goes down

Bon Scott (vocals) was a few years older than the other members of AC/DC when he joined the band in Australia in 1974... Like the brothers Angus Young (lead guitar) and Malcolm Young (rhythm guitar), Bon was a Scottish immigrant... Bon Scott grew up a fan of rock n' roll music in the 60's and wanted to be a singer. He first joined a pop group The Valentines in the late 60's and even appeared on Australian TV. In the early 70's, Bon Scott joined the blues rock band Fraternity. He was actually very good in that band and even toured the UK... One of the bands he opened for was Geordie, a band that featured future AC/DC singer Brian Johnson. Unfortunately, a bike accident sidelined Bon Scott and Fraternity split up by 1973... He married and supported his family working day jobs... In 1974, he was hired as a driver for a local band named AC/DC who were doing gigs w/ singer Dave Evans... Bon saw Angus Young in his schoolboy attire onstage and thought it was hilarious and loved AC/DC... Angus and Malcolm Young had formed the band in 1973 and were playing gigs in the Sydney area and they liked Bon Scott - they asked him to join AC/DC and he played drums for them briefly. In late 1974, singer Dave Evans quit AC/DC and Bon Scott opted to sing a gig for them and both Angus and Malcolm were impressed w/ his voice and onstage swagger (Despite the fact that he was high on drugs and drunk on Bourbon!) ... They decided to record their first album w/ Bon Scott and released AC/DC's debut album 'High Voltage' in Australia in early 1975. Phil Rudd (drums) and Mark Evans (bass) joined as AC/DC toured Australia and released a 2nd album 'T.N.T.' in 1975... and the band was already successful... They were signed internationally in 1976 as an international debut album 'High Voltage' was released featuring songs from their first 2 Australian albums. 3rd album 'Dirty done dirt cheap'... was released in 1976 but AC/DC's American label refused to release it in the US and Canada, calling it a "poor" effort... It was released in 1981 in America and ended up selling 6x platinum! In 1977, AC/DC released 4th album 'Let there be rock' and toured the USA for the first time as Cliff Williams (bass) replaced Mark Evans. With AC/DC finally gaining prominence in 1979 w/ their 6th album 'Highway to Hell'... and constant touring, Angus and Malcolm Young began writing their 7th album in early 1980. Tragically, AC/DC was hit hard when Bon Scott unexpectedly died in early 1980 after passing out in a friend's car following a night at the bars... Apparently, he threw up in his sleep and choked to death while passed out. AC/DC were devastated but decided to carry on w/ the band after getting approval from Bon's parents... Brian Johnson (vocals) auditioned and ended up joining AC/DC in 1980 and recorded their biggest album 'Back in Black'... which has sold 25 million copies in the US alone and is the top 5 best-selling record of all time - all dedicated to the memory of Bon Scott.
Released in 1987, ACDC was always great. You have to listen to more of ACDC. I love growing up in the 60s, 70s and 80's up... Angus is the lead quitarist of the band. Yes that him playing

I really enjoy your reactions Krizz. I can only imagine from your perspective that doing these reactions must make you feel like it is one of the most worthwhile things you've delved into in what has been a very successful career. My adult son and my daughter in law are in California but that's quickly becoming the problem and it's all stress 😩

It’s one of those guys who was crazy and said the song spoke to him and made him do it. But the song you need to do is night prowler. It is a slow monster of a song.
All you need to know about bon Scott is their manager put him on a plane once and when the plane got to the destination, he wasn’t on it a week later they get a phone call from the airport saying he’s there. He needs a ride even he didn’t know where he had been. lol

Hey Krizzzzzzz... Hope all is well. What are the chances of getting you to check out 'Ugly Kid Joe'? Couple songs, including my favorite rendition of Harry Chapin's "Cat's in the Cradle" But other interestingly good songs alot of people wont touch based on the names(books by the cover) "G.D. Devil" (i dont blaspheme even in text, I would make the exception for this title as the devil was technically damned by god, but still feels wrong writing it out) And the other one I'd recommend is "Neighbor"
Late to the party this one, but everyone always does the same ones at the beginning. To really get to know them, and their work, check out ones like, Live Wire, Dog Eat Dog, Overdose, Squealer, Ain’t No Fun Waiting Around To Be A Millionaire. Many more bangers the deeper you go that many reactors never touch.
Bon Scott was lead vocals, from 1974 - 1980. He died 19 February 1980.
INSANE vocals
Day after my birthday was hard to hear, after partying all night.
Drowned while drunk. Gotta know your limits, man.

Same. That song Big balls" . I was in the 3rd grade, 1980 or so. I had no clue. (Not 100% anyway lol)
The more inappropriate the better back then. 😆
I do have to say that for some reason my mom really liked them. 😂❤✌️

GOING BILL BURR ON US KRIZZ!😂😂😂 THERES NO REASON TO HIT A WOMAN!
