I love the styling cues of the LR ST. There's several things that fall short for me. The guage is right off a treadmill in the gym, the old LR analog guages on the previous gen were much better to me. The odd size bags set off my OCD. Great job trying different bikes.

..and exactly how would you know what anything on a treadmill looks like? 🤣😂
      Just kidding you look fab...
But it fails me as to why HD would put a dash like that on a bike ment for touring, even sport touring . The bags also don't match the bike or work very well. They are straight off the discontinued Sport Glide, HD obviously had excess stock and had to stick the bags on something 😶

I hate the gauge on this Low Rider ST. They have that incredible digital round display on the Nightster, I wish they'd just put that on all the smaller bikes because it's wonderful.

Screw the bike…those back roads you’re riding are gorgeous! Great vid, thanks.

Yes, Appalachian HD has a fantastic demo route figured out. I always go there for test rides for this reason alone!

Low Rider ST is by far their best bike. I bought one in 2022, i needed to change some things to make it more comfortable for me (foot controls and larger wind shield) but thats a personal choice. you can ride it stock and its great for someone who isnt' tall.

I'm glad you like it so much! For me though it's nowhere close to HD's best bike. That's why it's good HD makes many different models, bikes for all different types of riders! 😎

Welcome back to my neighborhood. It reminded me of a FXDR. The rider triangle was odd to me. It is one I would love to rent for a week to see how it actually fits my lifestyle and if I could get used to the quirks.

This bike does have an odd rider's triangle. I think it would really get uncomfortable after an hour on it.

I've been on a full dress Road Glide for seven years now, but wanted something small and light for my shorter rides and just to change it up a bit. Last spring I went to my local HD dealer and test rode a 22 Low Rider S... I hated it. It had absolutely zero personality, it was dead quiet and so smooth that when I got off it back at the dealer after the test ride, the first thing I said without even thinking about it to the staff was "It feels like a Honda" and I don't mean that as any insult to Honda, only in that it was super smooth and vibration free and to me, had none of the Harley vibes (literally lol) I was looking for. My second motorcycle ever that I rode for my first 3-4 years was a Goldwing, I love those too... but I was shopping for a Harley!
I ended up finding a 2015 Dyna FXDB with only 6k miles for 1/2 the price of a 2022 and a year later, I am still loving it. People will say the LRS w/ the 114 and the better brakes is all that... to me in everyday riding, my 15 FXDB isn't lacking either and I never feel like I need more power or better braking. It shakes and vibrates and is loud and saucy... it has a little wobble on the highway too... that bike feels alive because of those quirks, and it makes me smile and at times laugh out loud when riding, which is what any bike should do for the rider IMO.
I also have an M109R and a Vulcan 2000... they put every Harley I've ever ridden to shame when talking strictly performance... I don't ride my Harley's 90% of the time when I leave my garage b/c of the power or breaking performance, it's like Mengy mentioned in the video, the overall experience of riding a Harley is unique in many ways... and the sum of the parts make up the whole which, to some people like myself, is what makes them special and why I enjoy riding them so much.

It's important to really like the bike you ride, sounds like you found one that fits you well!

I have always love the looks of the m109
I have never rode one which is probably a good thing I would probably buy it 🤔🤔
I think the bosses are beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Love from DeKalb Mississippi USA 🇺🇲

Wish you compared it more to your Wing. Since I just came over to the GW form the American V-Twin world, I'm always curious as to what riders think going back and forth.

It doesn't compare nicely with the Goldwing. The Low Rider ST is much more of a light sport cruiser, the Wing is more of a comfy jack of all trades touring bike. I'd compare the Low Rider ST more with the Honda Rebel 1100, which I've not ridden yet.

About the only thing I like about the LRST is the 100lbs+ less weight vs my '21 Road Glide Special otherwise the RGS wins hands down on wind protection, I also wish a reverse gear Harley will add one of these days...my other bike is the '21 GWDCT Bagger and I can park that bike anywhere even down slope...thanks for sharing

I agree the Road Glide is better in every way except price tag. I also agree Harley should add a reverse gear to it's heavy bikes. When I bought my Wing I thought I'd never use reverse, but its so dang handy to have it and I use it all the time!

The motor felt great while riding it, but I did expect a bit more oooph from it.

From what I could see, the bike held the line well but the bars just didn't look right. The minimalistic gauge and the fairing were counterproductive and primitive. My sense is that the novelty would wear off quickly kind off like a Coyote Ugly encounter. This motorcycle would be a painful experience on longer trips. For us taller and heavier guys it would be an affair to forget.

I don't see how a taller person could ride this bike, their knees would be up over the tank!

I think I would rather have the Indian 100 horsepower for under 13 thousand plus I like the water 💦 cooled engine

I'd sooner pick the Indian, I even think it looks better!
