Hi, I'm facing an issue with the Mini 3. My underground pump tends to malfunction leading to the reservoir not refilling and causing the mini 3 to dry run. The issue I have is whenever this happens I need to re-prime the pump again because it loses all the water in it. Is there any way to avoid this (besides replacing the underground pump so as to avoid dry runs obviously) ? Relevant details: the pump is connected to the system on bottom and the reservoir is about 2-3 feet below it.

Do i also need to disable the self priming when i am pumping from a reservoir that is about 1 meter higher than the pump as so the water is coming from higher up the pump but with no extra pressure?
@HolyGamesHD Thank you for reaching out to us. You would want to disable the self-priming valve whenever you are getting constant pressure to the pump. So, if your tank is providing constant pressure already to the pump, then yes you would want to disable.
