Lyrics:
One life I'm gonna live it up
I'm takin' flight said I'll never get enough.
Stand tall I'm young and kinda proud
I'm on top as long as the music's loud.
If you think I'll sit around as the world goes by
You're thinkin' like a fool 'cause it's a case of do or die.
Out there is a fortune waitin' to be had
If you think I'll let it go you're mad
You've got another thing comin'.
That's right here's where the talkin' ends
Well listen this night there'll be some action spent.
Drive hard I'm callin' all the shots
I got an ace card comin' down on the rocks.
If you think I'll sit around while you chip away my brain
Listen I ain't foolin' and you'd better think again.
Out there is a fortune waitin' to be had
If you think I'll let it go you're mad
You've got another thing comin'.
In this world we're livin' in we have our share of sorrow
Answer now is don't give in aim for a new tomorrow.
Oh so hot no time to take a rest yeah
Act tough ain't room for second best.
Real strong got me some security
Hey I'm a big smash I'm goin' for infinity yeah.
back in high school....yes! I was a 80s hard rocker! Im 55 years old now and still like to find my group Judas Priest on UA-cam and jam. LOVE IT!
Same!! Just had a bday!!
I was in high school in the 70s and Priest was big. I am 60
@@chillywilly7299 Same here! I miss the 60's and 70's, and the 80's!
@@chillywilly7299 Here's a blast from the past! "Blues Image-Ride Captain Ride", this came on the radio while we drove around Long Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, and PV, it was on man!!!! PARTY! LOL (I think this also definitely made me yearn to travel, and join the Navy in 81!!!!) Hey, want to go back to your childhood? Here ya go! "One Toke over the Line by Brewer and Shipley" 😎👍
I’ll be listening this till I’m covered in my dirt blanket
THE REAL FATHERS OF HEAVY METAL SINCE 80S, NO QUESTION, JUDAS PRIEST!!!!! 4 EVER.........
since the 70's!
58 years young...still rocking 😮😊😊
59 yrs kid......👍👍
JUDAS PRIEST BELONGS IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME !!!!!!
13 years ago... 6 stars, PCJ-600 and this song in the radio!
As far as I can remember it was GTA Vice City right?
yeah. Rockstar introduced me to good music
Me too, me too. These were good times back then
Laserowy Kuba 5 years ago in RoadKill escaping from poliçe and gangs with this music in radio
they should put it in the next GTA or as an update to LSRR
Rob is the "GOD VOICE" of heavy metal PERIOD!
At 58 years of age, I still crank it in my 69 Hemi Cuda!
👍Rock on, brother!
#MOPARORNOCAR
Nobody beats the British rocker bands.🇨🇦💜🤘
I'm 15 years old and I love heavy metal
same
I have 13 and i love the heavy metal
Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, White/Rob Zombie, Rammstein, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Godsmack, Dethklok, as a few to check out if you haven't. Also broadcasting your age on the internet might draw some, umm undesirable people. Or maybe you work for the FBI. Either way, enjoy the metal. No one can destroy the metal -Tenacious D
@@rogerfurlong1535 I love Metallica, Megadeth, Judas priest, iron maiden,Alice Cooper, black sabbath ,helloween and others
"I'm taking flight but i'll never get it up"? Sounds like a personal problem ,Rob.

This song along with its video brings back memories of my childhood because my mom used to put it on TV at full volume, thank you mom for giving me the best childhood and this good taste in music.
Not my mom's music at all but I agree with the sentiment.
Stockholm syndrome in a way. Same situation with my father actually. I hated when he rocked Ozzy Osbourne at full volume in our small apartment being drunk. Now I love Ozzy Osbourne and heavy metal overall.
@@KeksimusMaximus dont put it that way, parents introduced you to so many things;
bad and good ones, just take the good.
Crazy 4 generations listen to priest. Boomers, gen x y and z. The pre hippie gen hates this stuff.
I want an grateful kid too🤗
Such a bad ass guitar solo by Glen Tipton. Smoking hot still, all these years on.
Great band mate but bad miming 🤸🎸🎸🎸
Love this solo , it's nice and tidy , but has a lot of feel to it .

good music
weird. same here..but stopped for some meatloaf on the way
I underestimated your power
it will be a long way to the top lollll!!!!!
Your taste is impeccable
After British Steel, a heavy metal masterpiece, Screaming for Vengeance is the best album by Judas Priest
Tony_montana14 I completly agree
Tony_montana14 Defenders of the Faith is better imo
Everyone forgets stained class
My favorite Priest album is Sad Wings Of Destiny, but Defenders and Screaming are next in my personal preferences.
Shit, almost Priest álbuns is amazing.
And a heavy metal band that made an album like Firepower, after
almost half century of career, really deserves the title of "Metal Gods".
Painkiller > Screaming for vengance > British Steel
These songs stand the test of time. Rock Forever
Ничо не понял , со всем согласен.
I see what you did there😉👍
The First Judas Priest I saw back in 1983, today I'm 55 still have Heavy Metal running thru my veins !!!!!!!

I was at Cobra Kai Season 5 premiere, met with the actors. This song was played during the premiere, so awesome!

Great mom!
"I do not need, a microphone, my voice is fucking powerful!"
Kings of British Heavy Metal
I remember seeing this on MTV at 16 years old and being completely mesmerized by the song and video. The powerful solo by Glen TIpton, the lasers, and the whole concept of the video. This song was like a HUGE middle finger to authoritarianism in some dystopian world, where control is everything....until Rob Halford has had enough. The amount of C4 in that mannequin is astonishing and is the perfect solution to the overlords' monitoring of their "noise pollution". Head blows off, pants fall down. Rock on, Judas Priest!
the golden age of MTV, when it was non stop music videos!
High school all over again!!!!!! Saw this tour, Judas Priest with special guest Iron Maiden. 1982. Love it!!!!
80s was such an awesome era for any genre of music... *ESPECIALLY FOR METAL!!!*
Straight up, in your face, rock n roll. It does not get much better than this. Music today just does not measure up.
I can remember being 12 years old watching this. When the guys head exploded, we thought that was the most bad ass thing ever. :)
I prefer the scanners one where the exploded head guy's facial expressions and twitching arms are like a crescendo to orgasm.
Mo 89
Fact: JP's album British steel is what launched every 80's metal band. Love them all, but credit due to priest

Lets face it, this is the best metal song from the entire decade of the 80s, with awesome and provocative album cover artwork, with all lyrical and vocal and instrumental pistons firing with perfect sonic intensity.
true Iconic metal song. Released before the "hair metal" bands ruled the rest of the decade
Rob is on the top as long as the music's loud
*turns it up 😏
Father thank you for being my best friend! Amen
I remembered buying this tape as a 10 year old and listening to this song over and over on my sony Walkman.
First live show, Priest and Kiss way back in 79. Got hooked on metal then, I’m a young 58 now and not a damn thing has changed, metal head then and I am now more so than ever. Thank you Judas Priest.
SO METAL! ...1982, grade 7, Screaming For Vengeance and Number of the Beast, riding a BMX ...I haven't changed much.
Ditto!🤘
Number of the Beast. I remember that song. Who sang it?
Another one I remember of those years was "Chained", by Van Halen.
Iron Maiden
crusherbmx never give it up
9 year old me was introduced to heavy metal and Judas Priest when my older brother would blast this song and album from our parents basement. I didn't understand what it meant at the time but I did know that I liked it...
I was 20 when this song was released, great crunching rock

15 years ago,axel stell,and this song.Guitar Hero🎸🎸🎵❤❤.
We're in the same channel bro xD this was the first song i played in Guitar Hero back in 2007 and my 14 year old brain was blown away by those power chords that i never heard before.
I remember the first time I heard this song - played live by a cover band - and I just went out of my mind. Musical heroin. Few tracks are as iconic as this.
Ya, about the most iconic metal tune on earth, they even played this in nightclubs, never gonna get tired of this
I'm feeling a baby on this comment session, I'm only 20 and I've been a Priest fan since I was 14!!
i'm 15 and listening to judas priest since i was 6 :DD

Judas Priest is a supremely talented hard rock group.
Priest is Metal not Rock
and not specifically "supremely talented" cuz they are GODS, Metal Gods
Хорошая команда Judas priest. Я слушал их песни когда был молодым парнем.

The best song of judas priest.
Change my mind
Track will live forever, SO fking good. Was upon release and stands today. It's badass.
Rocking it in my 72 nova..1983
I'm 58. My best friend and i saw Rob drive his purple motorcycle onto the stage at MSG in '82; we could care less about his sexuality. The guy flat out rocked, he held the mic up to the exhaust during this number and revved it up. 🤘💜
You've got another thing comin'.
Rock n Roll hall of famers… well deserved 🎉
the best about judas priest...they are live even better...very rare
Greetings from vice city) also this song is playing in prey 2006

They're the kings of HEAVY METAL! PERIOD ☺️😁😆😉😊
Driving a brand new Camaro . I95 north , blasting this song . . . . Priceless .
I didn’t come here from no V-Rock or whatever GTA game. I came here straight from 1982, back when I listened to Priest on my stereo and on MTV.
Millennials will never be able to rock like we did in the 80s
Lieutenant Masterson It’s actually a good thing that the GTA games introduce a new generation to classics of al genres.
Out Back Country They can rock by listening to classics today, but they’ll never experience how great it truly was in the 80’s.
@@outbackcountry512 time is relative.
Dude, you gotta appreciate that the young generations, or youngsters such as me could get to know such great piece of music thanks to a game that's a classic now
This song was way of ahead of its time still unreleased ✅⚡☄️ we are living in past
An MTV Classic from the 80's
66 'Stang with a 302, Blaupunkt stereo and Alpine speakers, EQ in the glove box doing 120 up PCH while she's blowing me aaaaaand listening to THIS!! The 80's were aaaaaaaawesome 🤘😜!
🖤🎼🖤😜
Why don't they make songs like this anymore? What a riff this song has got! Amazing!
Because this sort of talent doesn't exist any more
The people in power wont allow it any more, we were too wild.....
This is such a classic metal anthem
This álbum Is from 1983. I still have it on acetatum. And I'm on my 50' 🤣😂
Amongst the best examples of the bass pedal note. Just imagine this song without it - all tension gets lost. Thanks, Ian, from a fellow bassist.
My Favorite Judas Priest Song I Love It
El mejor grupo por lejos de rock pesado inglés...!!!!👍
Gonna have good rockin tonight!!
Fantastic
Other than being at a live concert I think this is the one song I listened to the absolute LOUDEST in my entire life 🤯
