Just found your page and love this ornament. I have made 3 just niw, with a slight little change. After I got my drink colour in the mug and closed tight, I used more of the mug colour to go around the rim of the mug to make it just a bit higher than the drink. Next one is going to be a cocoa with whipped cream or marshmallows. Thank you for sharing such an adorable pattern! Happy Holidays! 🎄
Hiii Shelley! I’m so glad you found my page 🤗. That is such a cute idea! I didn’t even think about adding marshmallows or whipped cream 😮. Perfect timing for Christmas! I try to crochet one ornament each year so i might add make one this year with the marshmallows ☕️. Happy holidays and happy crocheting ! ❤️🎄🎁 🧶
@@JacquelinesLife so happy I could give you an idea as your tutorial helped me so much! Like you I make at least one new ornament a year, but this year I am trying to knit, crochet, Tat, or make wire and bead ornaments for each family member we are sending gifts to. I am in Scotland and my family are all over in the US, so have been crafting since mid July to get everyone’s things done (along with all the new babies being born, most recent arrived unexpectedly last night, he was not meant to arrive until Jan 3rd but he got impatient lol. I think his mom is relieved but the baby things are still in transit 🤦♀️). So now I am working hubby’s family’s ornaments and ones for neighbors. The cat has been trying to “help, so had to make her her very own little ornament to leave me in peace, so she is on the floor playing with one of the hot chocolate mugs that she has claimed. So your design is cat approved too, not just human approved 😉😂 you take care, stay safe, and have a wonderful holiday! 💖
I'm sure by now you figured it out. Just saw this video (5/24/2022). I used a smaller hook (1/2) to make the handle. Also instead of single crochet on the second row, you could have slip stitched all the way across for a smaller handle using the same amount of stitches for both techniques. I still used the smaller size hook. Cute!
Hi Jacqueline I joined you a long time ago and found you tiny coffee cups. I was wondering (silly question) to make the pink one in your video what hook did you use and pattern? Such as the rows. Hope your still active. Theresa.
Hi Theresa! I used a 3.5 mm crochet hook and the pattern is the same one from this video. The pink one is just smaller because the yarn is thinner than the cotton one I used in this tutorial :)
That’s a good idea! I think about that but I was thinking it would be a cute keychain. I collect keychains so that’s always my go to idea for mini projects 😹
@@lanajantz2240 I make mini things like this mug...and then I use them as keychains they look so cool ☺️ You can attach these kind of things to your gloves , bags , wall hangings etc
Comments made about how you do your hook is viewed how they prefer to do their hooking. Everyone hooks differently, we all do what's comfy for us. 😇 Happy hooking to all.

Nothing wrong with how you do your hook.
Nothing is perfectly perfect, except God! He's always, always perfect and on time He's time!
