- It was time to leave the most populated city - New Delhi and head to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. In this video, I am taking you on my first train ride journey in India.

They give bedsheet and pillow in AC compartment. The non ac compartments are for lower income people in general. To reduce the price for Average citizen they removed the blankets, bedsheet and Pillow. In India, people generally Carry Sheet with them while travelling

The feeling of a middle class Indian almost every time he travels by train. You had that for few hours... Pure raw India.
Hi Davud, The rule is, in the day time, from 7am to 8pm approx, no one is allowed to sleep in the train specially at the lower berths. after 8pm no one is allowd to seat at your bearth other than you. so this is what the rule is @ Indian Railways

@@Davud_Akh for better experience travel in luxury train like Himsagar express, Rajdhani express, Shatabdi express & Janshatabdi express. These are most luxurious and well maintained train. You can have 1st, 2nd & 3rd class AC compartment.

Bro India has such a big railway network (with daily footfall equivalent to a country's population elsewhere).
There may be lot of videos you might have watched how disorganised systems in India are... but Indian Railways is one of the best network.
The sleeper class - During the day journey it is seater and night journey it is bed.

They give bedsheet, pillow, food and blankets in the air conditioned compartments. Normally middle class travel in the air conditioned coaches. You can sleep there cause it’s much quieter

When I was on Buddhist pilgrim we 80 Sri Lankan devotees stayed closed to the railway station.. The hotel was Hotel tourist Deluxe..... very busy area.. we did shopping in main bazar and also Palika bazaar.... stay safe sir.. wishes from Colombo - Sri Lanka.

You should have to travel in 2AC Or 3AC ... because sleeper is not more comfortable and cleaner as compared to 2AC & 3 AC
@18:30 nothing like that , you can sleep in day time also. But in some areas people prefer their convience than others. The guy sitting in front of you may even do not have slipper tickets . If he did not want to sleep you can go to seat no 72 that was above your head ..
In some areas people make reserved boggy like unreserved. They do not care about uncomfort of others ......
First of all let me correct you ...it's "sleeper" type coach or we can say economy class in train. It doesn't mean passanger get to sleep a whole journey. There is a rule about timing to unfold middle seat which's @10pm to 6am. Side lower seats can also be unfolded to form a sleeper.
Below one will be 71 and upper 72 during the sleep period mentioned above.
Nobody can forcibly unfold seats out of the time bound. People may do so on there own mutual consent.
Secondly what do you mean by some areas .. The condition of sleeper coaches is almost same everywhere in the country.
There is two kind of people . A Good one or a Bad one. At any region of world we will find both type of people.
I challenge you to name a region where we'll find only one type.

Hope the auto took you to the right destination because he ( auto driver) seems to be somewhat lost :).
I suggest maybe you should also use a google translator ( English to Hindi) just in case you want the message to convey to someone who does not understand English at all. Because I see that in most cases the people don't get your questions and are unable to answer you. Train journey's are full of adventures in India and you will find all sorts of people. I have traveled for almost 72 hours ( in one train) from the south to the Northeast of India by train long ago.

21:04 dude, never leave ur belonging unattended even for a second. Specially if there are any valuable things.
Davud, you got down at the wrong station, the ticket collector and the other man at the gate tried to tell you that it is "Raja Ki Mandi", not "Agra Cantt", you kept on asking about "Agra City" and they got confused. Raja Ki Mandi is a suburban station in Agra. Agra City station is closer to Raja Ki Mandi, that's why they suggested that you can catch a rickshaw from there or from Agra Cantt. In any case, your destination was certainly not Agra City station, as it falls on an entirely different railway line.
"Agra Cantt" station was the right one for you and your guest house was close to that. So you had to pay extra for the Rickshaw ride! You could have saved a hundred rupees, had you got down at the right station. Check google map and you can see what I mean.
I guess in your Ticket too it is mentioned New Delhi Station to Agra Cantt Station and you got confused with "Agra City'". Agra City is a different station and does not fall in the mainline you travelled on. There is also another station "Agra Fort" from where you can catch trains bound to Jaipur.
Similar confusion exists wherever there are more than one station in any city with that city name as prefix . Bangalore has three stations as you travel from Chennai to Bangalore. Bangalore East, Bangalore Cantt and Bangalore City(Now KSR Bangalore). In 1977 as I was travelling from Madras to Bangalore, I got confused and got down at Bangalore Cantt instead of Bangalore City. Then I had to spend extra on rickshaw to reach the city. Of course then we didn't have Google or internet. Railway Timetable was the only help, if we carried one with us!
The problem seems to be communicating with the locals. You get mislead, because they can't understand your English and you can't understand their 'Hinglish'!
In such cases, take the help of google map instead of asking people.
All the best with your future trips to India. Try to cover the South Indian towns of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Kerala, which are naturally beautiful with lovely architecture.

I went from New Delhi to Agra in 2019, a few of us went by taxi to Agra cost £70 stirling,couldnt get a train at the time took 9 hours lol great scenery at the time❤ love your videos❤❤

in train generally there would be one Indian toilet and another western toilet opposite to each other. you went to the Indian toilet.
