Not a bad pair of knives. I want both of them. I have a Brazen liner lock. As soon as I bought it I saw the button lock version. Would've went with that, but it's a nice knife nonetheless. I like the Praxis. Not huge on the ultem but it's not bad. Probably gonna get one Civivi with it. The blacked out metal looks good with it, but I dig the satin more with the ultem. I like the Elementum 2 because the skeletonizing is even on both sides. The large praxis has that piece down the middle on the milled out side, but the mini looks a little better as far as that goes. I'm very excited about Civivi's decision to rock ultem. I love the material and am happy to see they are not trying to price it as a premium material. I think Raffir is overpriced and some companies have priced ultem similarly. Very happy to get it on some of my favorite models.
I like both of these knives, but I'm not paying a premium price for "plastic" ultem. It looks nice and I know it handles temps well, but I've heard some stories of it cracking. Better materials available. The KC exclusive Conspirator in s35 and aluminum for around 100.00....that makes more sense to me. I had a nitro-v/micarta Conspirator and that was the best button lock I've owned so far. Beg 2's, etc all had button stick/snap. In fact, the Conspirator for 70 is one of the best knives I've had for the money. That and the Asher Spiro Ti. Thanks for the show, Stassa.

Cannot get the praxis uncoated blade anywhere in the uk. Civivi sent local retailers also. Several suppliers here are no longer stocking flippers. Apparently the government is going to ban flipper knives. Its getting redediculous. Many collctors will refuse to hand any in if required. Maybe those who have flippers already can keep them? Its a mess!!! Do they really think collectors will hand in say for example an expensive we, Benchmade spyderco to say the least, to see it being chopped to bits by the law 🤪
That dehydrated urine color, plus being able to see through it you will have to take your knife apart constantly to keep it clean or be forced to look at all the lint. Hard pass on ultem for me.
Can’t wait until ultem disappears from the scene. It’s truly stupid how anyone would every pay the dumb mark up for piss colored plastic scales. Thank you stassa for actually telling it like it is at the start of the video. It’s stupid glorified plastic and consumers are ripping themselves off by buying this ultem crap.
Absolutely facts. The some of the US and all the China knife industry got a lot of buyers under its thumbs.... all they gotta do is release a bunch of snappy detent models with weird and ugly scales so long as they are something different.... send it out to the youtubers to review and bam watch the units disappear. Make 30 to 80 dollar knives and throw something different on them call it new and or limited and so long as it's got multiple deployments, snappy action and the YTers push it they will sell like crazy. It's why I like Stassa so much, he tells it how it is.
It would be nice if they just made the scales available for purchase.
