Earlier, the American embassy in Lebanon also reiterated its appeal to its citizens to leave Lebanon in view of the deteriorating situation, even if it means taking any available ticket. This urgent advice is given in light of the potential threat of an Israel-Lebanon war. Considering this, the U.S. had assured its ally Israel days ago of deploying its military assets and additional troops to the region. The American embassy has even stated that although flights to and from Lebanon have stopped, U.S. citizens should attempt to leave using any commercial transport options available. The embassy's statement also mentioned that they encourage all Americans to try to leave Lebanon immediately, using any ticket available, and not to worry about taking their preferred route but rather any route that is open."
