You can see that man’s passion for his product which is what makes “Made in USA” so unique IMO. I own a Legend Ultra fly rod that I’ve had for over 25 yrs and it’s still the most smoothest casting rod I’ve ever used.

I absolutely love my Victory Rod. The only downside is at the moment I only have 1. I got my 1st one at the Bassmaster Open on Cherokee last year. I had came off the water as a co-angler after a tough day and was talking with a good friend of mine who had one in his hand. I said looks like you bought a rod and he said no to say thank you to veterans and service members they were giving a rod to them, so he walked me over to them and in one hand he handed me a rod and the other shook my hand and with a truly genuine smile said thank you. I used it the next week in a club tournament and fell in love with it. after that I slowly started to replace my rods with the mojo series and could not be happier. I know have 6 St Croix rods and hopefully soon will be able to replace my last 4 rods and have a complete line of the rods and actions I use most.

In 2018, I bought my first St Croix rod... now 6 years later I'm looking at 18 St Croix rods hanging in my basement... St Croix offers so many different rods for different techniques it's amazing. 6 of the 18 are Musky rods, the other 12 are 11 Bass rods and 1 Panfish rod. Between them all I have quite a few of the different series... Legend Tournament, Avid, Victory, Triumph, Premier, Mojo Bass, Mojo Musky, Mojo Glass, and Panfish. These rods so far have lived up to their slogan... "Best Rods on Earth"... I pulled in a 4lb Smallmouth on the panfish rod, it was bent over so far, I thought it was going to break. Then, I couldn't believe it when it held up to the task of pulling in a 28" catfish as well. It took a while to get that one in, it didn't want to come up off the bottom... Great rods indeed... Tight Lines!!

I love the brand so much and always thought of owning a St. Croix casting and spinning rod all the time. Unfortunately the specs that I've always wanted aren't there or don't fit my requirement, a 2-piece / center joint / 6 foot 6 to 6 foot 10 in length. The reason is, simply because I'm always riding my motorcycle with my backpack with all the stuff behind my back whenever I go fishing. Imagine how crazy would it be, carrying a 1-piece rod behind your back..

Got a few rods and had one warrantied (manufacture defect), it was pretty quick and painless. I even got to keep and fix my old one (fixed reel seat gluing heat defect). That alone made me like them. Rods are light and function nice.

@@zb5797 I just sanded the old glue a bit so it could go in place then added light touch of liquid CA glue to hold it in place, lined up straight with the guides. Then held it vertical and dripped more glue in the crack in-between till the top was filled and did the same to the bottom vertically. It shouldn't break loose. Hard part is not getting super glue everywhere on the outside.

My two favorite rods are both St Croix...a 6'4" Avid Panfish and a 7'1" Legend Tournament Bass, however with all their attention to detail I still can't get over the fact that they misspelled "Versatile" on the LTB rod, every time I see "Versitle" printed on the rod I get a good chuckle.

I've really never had the money that this rods cost! But I've bought older two piece spinning St. Croix rods that had metal furrels I think It was eglass? But I rebuilt it into a baitcasting rod adding a two footed eyes to stiffen it up and its now the best spoon rod I own, it can throw a 3/4 oz spoon but I can still throw an 1/8 oz johnson silver minnow on 12 lb line and because it was a old buggy whip spinning rod and with the extra eyes and double wrapped the footings that rod will still throw a light spoon a country mile because the blank loads up so easily it just flings the lighter baits unlike a faster blanks! It just shows the quality of St. Croix rods over 40+ years old that was converted from a spinning rod to baitcasting rod! That's quality!
