Fran Bow is a creepy adventure game that tells the story of Fran, a young girl struggling with a mental disorder and an unfair destiny.
After witnessing the gruesome and mysterious loss of her parents, found dismembered at their home, Fran rushes into the woods, together with her only friend, Mr. Midnight, a black cat that Fran had previously received as a present from her parents.
In the forest, Fran goes into shock over the loss of her parents and when she recovers, she’s at Oswald Asylum, an oppressive mental institution for children, and Mr. Midnight is nowhere to be found.
After having a dream about her beloved cat, Fran decides to escape from the mental institution to find him and go back home to Aunt Grace, her only living relative.

this game has the amazing ability to get you attached to the characters, and it had me in tears in the ending, it was a fun experience and it deserves more attention, one of the best games of 2015.
I know it's so emotional
It's a pretty great puzzle game, great horror game to up until after the halfway point when it becomes more of a fantasy game.
Buy it if it interests you, don't just torrent or watch a "let's play," this industry is never gonna get better if you don't show financial support to quality work.
Sergei Ivanovich Mosin I am doing a Let's Play of this simply to show my love for it. But I always encourage people to try the games I upload videos of for themselves, post links, etc. I have family who want to get into the game development world, and I do understand that every purchase counts. I do also know that some people are interested in a game but maybe want to see some of the gameplay before making a purchase decision, or maybe are too scared to play it themselves. It is a decision I don't make without consideration.
I know this was three years ago and you probably might know but if you don’t there’s a game called little misfortune. It’s not exactly Fran Bow II but I think there in the same universe as each other. If you look closely you can see Fran driving a car in one cutscene. You should really check out this game. I’m not finished with it yet but I can tell it’s going to have a good ending. Also unlike Fran bow there’s multiple endings and what you pick will always matter. Like if you choose to ride or play with something misfortune might fall and hurt herself so be careful :)

One of the best games EVER. This helped me on a personal level, which I won't get into on here. I know it was made with the intent of being therapeutic for Natalia as well. It's a beautiful, gruesome, and fantastical game. I cannot wait to see what is next from Killmonday Games.

I got this game about five days ago, and I've been obsessing over it ever since I finished it. It left me feeling empty in a sense, wanting more - and so here I've been for the past couple of days, trying to apply logic and reason to a game that by its very design has neither. It seems obvious to me that there are connections between certain details; what isn't so obvious is what the connections _are_, which both highly intrigues and intensely frustrates me. Maybe if I had some Duotine of my own, I could understand it better... but until then, I'll be here, writing down my crazy ideas and trying to fit them all together.
If you like point-and-click style games, puzzles, horror, fantasy, and emotional roller coasters, I would *highly* recommend that you get Fran Bow and play it for yourself if you haven't already - and make sure that you go in as blindly as possible!
I will always love and remember fran bow. I promise.

This game was my introduction to horror, I was very young when I saw this trailer on some flash games website and it did scar me, but I was also left intrigued by the art and the world, it clearly is a game made by people who love their craft. I hope the newer gen gamers get to know and experience this game for themselves
