A fault is a fracture, which involves the displacement of blocks on either side of it, relative to one another. The lecture includes introduction of fault along with details of parts of fault and type of Faults.

Sir fault line me to part uper ki side move karta hai wo hanging wall hota hai to normal fauls me hanging wall niche ki side kyu move karta hai.

Normal fauls me hanging wall niche ki side is liye jata hai kyunki jab hanging wal foot wall se dur chala jata hai to hanging val ka upri hisa cliff ki tarhan upar latkne lagta hai aur jaldi hi vo tut/khisak ke jab foot wall se takrata hai to vo hamesha foot wall k nichle hise me hi jakar milega.
