Thank you so much for having me in your wonderful channel! It was a pleasure to collaborate with such an amazing artists like you two and help spread the beautiful world of traditional art🙏 Take care both of you! much love~🍣🐕️💖
The way they both internally panicked when shushidog just casually drops a bit of ink on the whole drawing is so real, its such a trust the process moment, im so impressed by how calm she is 😭🙏
19:38 Holy shit. As it dried out, that blush went from a grey mess that's yet to be completed to a freaking amazing gradient of a blush😮😮😮 WTF is this copic magic markers 😭😭
Honestly mindblowing to hear that sushidog doesnt normally teach people. This was such a good tutorial. I royally suck at art but this makes me want to give it a solid attempt
I was genuinely surprise it was Sushi's first time teaching people. She was explaining things so well and she paced herself slowly as to not rush Emily and Daidus. And her art looks so beautiful as well.
I loved this collab, also her dress is probably so pretty it's a shame we only see the sleeves (and when she was opening the marker I was so worried for them)
It looks like it's just sleeves, because at one point when showing Daidus something near the end during the air brush part, you see her other sleeves are pushed up her arms...
sushidog is so good at explaining her techniques! i wouldn't have expected that she's only been working with copics for 3 years! i hope we get a future episode with her when emily and daidus get more familiar with copics and maybe see if they learn their own personal colouring techniques to show the variety copics can provide :,D
WHO NEEDS A PODCAST WHEN YOU HAVE THIS You guys have possibly created the perfect channel, its like a podcast but with art and helpful advice, i love your channels, i love art, and this even got rid of my art block thank you 🙏🏻 :D
WOW! I’ve been using copics for 6 years and I only just now learned these tricks! I had no idea that was how you refilled them. I just gradually let the ink go on the brush tip and would always get my hands messy! Def saving these tips for later
Daidus and Emily going through an enlightenment through sushidog's tutorials. She explains everything so well and her voice is so calming. Plus her nails and sleeves are so pretty and cute.
Spilled ink is so calm and comforting I wasn’t planning to watch all bc it was over 20 min but I lost track and accidentally watched all Lucky accident 😅
9:20 speaking of! Those things introduced as posca-like, assuming copic charges for them anything like they do for the alcohol markers ... it feels important to mention that you can also get pretty good acrylic markers that do basically that (in some cases with brush tip) for around a euro or dollar a piece!
Every video made makes me indulge in more and more art and it feels so nice to get that motivation I thought I lost come back. Thank you two for ur videos :)
Let's go, Sushidog showing her Copic skills!! You both did fantastic and learned a lot, I think you'll be more confident in your art after this for sure. Thank you for giving Sushi this opportunity!
This was an awesome video with an incredible guest! Please do more of these expert guest tutorials, and bring back Sushidog as soon as possible for more :D
28:31 woa daidus really did a great job here, i was just listening to the video in the background then when i glanced at the screen this is what i saw and i thought it was rimuru at first
Yesss!!! We wanted a Spilled Ink and SushiDog collab let's goo!! I watch Sushi's streams and they are so chill and she might not believe it but she's actually super entertaining Edit: for a moment I thought Daidus was drawing Gura
Daidus reacting exactly the same way I did every single time Sushidog introduces a technique unknown to us digital artists. So relatable. This is the best episode of Spilled Ink for me so far. 2nd was with Dinosaur man.
Honestly, this channel keeps our artist spirit going! Not only enjoying these beautiful art, we get inspired to pursue our forgotten hobby and if not that, we get to learn new art trends! This channel is so relaxing!
i always had this impression of how daunting trad art can be due to that you have to make little to no mistakes but i never knew i could learn so much through this video 🥺 sushidog is an amazing guest, i hope that we can see more artists invited to the channel too 🙏
I just started collecting some Copic Markers myself after watching your Copic related videos. And watching this video in specific has helped me learn how to use them. SushiDog is a great teacher. 😊
This was amazing, for someone who isn't an artist (and never will be) this is a bit like watching an extremely comfy "How It's Made" of a product you really like. Love Sushidog's line art (as well as the colouring of course).
Emily and Daidus using topic marker is such a great and cute time to have, They did so good while laughing and being so amaze at every item Miss Sushi dog have.
You should make this a series, where you learn form professional artist different styles or forms of drawing 😊 it’s a learning experience for everyone!!! ❤❤❤
I was today years old when I learnt about the spilled ink technique 👀 Thanks for the video, it has been very informative and looking forward to the upcoming copics journey, you guys improve so fast
YEAHHHH I love copic videos so much !! And wahh I love this artist, I was actually trying to do an art style study on Sushidog ;w; I’m so glad you guys decided to do this ! ! ( ,, o w o ,, )
They're a bit darker and saturated, but for anyone looking for a Copic alternative if you're not in Japan, Ohuhu markers are a great option. Those paint markers look really nice too, but I just know they'll be twice the price if I find them here in the US lol
Awesome! Yeah, I just got some alcohol markers and I figured I needed some tips to make it smoother and not so streaky. This is perfect. Thank you for uploading.
Copic Acrea is the most surprising thing in this video, given I last learnt in a prior video where Daidus mentions someone else mention that a compatible medium is very important to the tool you use, whether water colours, pencils or oil paints, each needs to be paired with it's own type of compatible medium. Glad to see Sushidog, hope they enjoyed it as much as rest of us did, like others, would be glad to see them again once both Daidus and Emily have more experience with Copic
Wow... i did not know copics had so many tips and tricks to make your art better?! this video made me want to go back and start coloring with copics again. Thank you for the wonderful video!
Thank you so much for having me in your wonderful channel! It was a pleasure to collaborate with such an amazing artists like you two and help spread the beautiful world of traditional art🙏 Take care both of you! much love~🍣🐕️💖

Holy shit. As it dried out, that blush went from a grey mess that's yet to be completed to a freaking amazing gradient of a blush😮😮😮
WTF is this copic magic markers 😭😭
Right my brain cannot process that
I never knew that and always thought i had ruined my copic pieces, now i want to try them again
I'm not even an artist but I'm so locked in trying to absorb the information
I am an artist but i dont even have copics so i feel you 😭 haha
Gonna have to eat the info, it's a should and a must lol
Lmao that’s me witht every spilled ink vid. I don’t even have copics but i guess watercolors are very vaguely the closest i have to them haha

Although I don't use copics that much I'll definitely try to keep Sushis words in mind when coloring traditionally 😭
Lots of crossover between markers, watercolors, and colored pencils when it comes to pigment coverage, avoiding streaks, layering, etc!
another spilled ink upload YIPPIEEEE!!
From what i can see from you're past uploads is that the coloring has definetally improved!

Sushi always explains everything soo well and easily to follow along when she streams aswell, she has a huge future in art
i love the battle between the ink squad and sushi for the correct pronunciation of copic
I love a nail showcase, Emily and Sushidog have nice nails.

Sushi's nails and sleeves are way too gorgeous omg

Time for another exciting episode of Spilled Ink! Excited for this one since I own copic markers.
