Jumbo Kinetic moves two reactors from Italy to The Netherlands

For a high-profile and time-sensitive project, Jumbo-SAL-Alliance was selected to transport two reactors from Ortona and Porto Marghera (Italy) to Rotterdam (the Netherlands) on the Jumbo Kinetic.
Client deugro needed to receive the reactors right on time in order to handle the next logistical leg efficiently: the barge transport from Rotterdam to end-clients Fluor Corporation and BAYERNOIL Raffineriegesellschaft mbH.
Jumbo-SAL-Alliance was contracted for our flexibility, #engineering skills and because of our reputation for flexibility and on-time delivery.
In addition, the loading port of Ortona is draught-restricted. This is where our fleet offers a distinct advantage: our Heavy Lift Vessels have shallow-draught capabilities, enabling them to operate in virtually any port or berthing area worldwide. Jumbo Kinetic proved this to be true.
Thanks to our crew and our close cooperation with deugro, the reactors were safely offloaded onto two barges in the Port of Rotterdam. From there, deugro delivered the reactors to its clients (Fluor and Bayernoil) well before the deadline. A job well done!
