Excellent, this is how exactly I felt when I read the Qur’an! Truly Allah is alive and when you read the Qur’an you fell like you need this information for your personal life or related matter.

SubhanAllah. No book on Earth provides a direct connection with the author, but we can have a direct connection with our Creator using this Qur'an. Such a miracle.

May Allah preserve you Dr. Hany. What a power anology and concept. It's like turning the Live TV on every single day expecting and channeling ourselves to learn/receive/discover something new applicable to any circumstances. But we have been deprived of this Devine Gift by what we have been programmed and taught to rather tune ourselves to Pre-recorded TV. Praise be to Allah the new phase is here. AlhamduLillah.

Beautiful Analogy.. This is an example how we can extract hidden nuggets when it is interpreted by well educated person. We needed this long time ago as muslim ummah we should have excelled in latest science and technologies which could have opened new ways to understand the Quran. Sticking to old concepts and not reinterpretation has lead to this condition.

Thank you so much Dr Hany for your effort. Looking forward to your translation of the Quran . May Allah guides you. I have been reading many translation of the Quran in English and in Malay and I know some are translated differently (I believe they are translated in good faith) that could leads to different understanding. Its very true through my experience, like the analogy you gave above, it is Allah that will give you the understanding of the message if you open your heart and mind. With your understanding of the language of the Quran I pray your translation would bring more lights to the real meaning of it. In Sha Allah.

I arrived here from your other video, and looking at the other comments, apparently other people are new to your channel too. This video has been up for more than a year but the oldest comment is only two weeks old 🙂.
I don't call myself a Qur'anist, but since my first encounter with the teaching sometime in 2000, I realized the strength of their arguments. I have to admit that ever since the encounter I still study some versions of tafseer, science of hadith, kalaam and fiqh (all self study, I am not a student of theology, just happen to know good local scholars who willing to share and and lend me good literature, modern and classical) as I want to be open to all side and not fall into sectarian narrow mindedness the Qur'anist so critical about, but even a narrow minded Qur'anist is not a good thing 😁. However, after more than 20 years now, I decided that I need to focus my energy on Qur'an, in hoping to be able to communicate with (or through) it in its truest form, somehow I had been growing a feeling that my approach should be like the one you describe here. Allah SWT is personal to each and everyone of us, and while there is merit to corpus of Islamic literature, they are still men's thought and interpretations and should be accepted as such.
I am studying classical Arabic now, navigating around my day to day work, and while I don't expect to be as expert as you are, I pray to Allah that He blesses this effort... and I am glad that I found your channel.
As have been requested by many people in your channel, please let us know once you have released a more structured presentation of your thoughts, i.e. a book.
May Allah SWT blesses you and keeps you under His guidance 🙏

Indeed, I appreciate your dedication and preserverence. 🙏
This very much makes sense, where Allah SWT grants us guidance through Qur'an and hikma, in its meaning as (divine) wisdom. It also gives good analogy on how Allah SWT's kalaam functions in our universe, much easier to understand compared to classical aqeeda discussion in formation period.
Allow me to watch your other videos first before e-mailing you, asking for further guidance. This is only my 2nd video from your channel 🙂

Absolute right . We knew few essential Parts we consider and practice to get to the way to Him like reading The Quran , believe in Him , worshiping Him alone , remembrance of Him , obey the messenger , believe in Angel Gabriel , perform the regular prayer ,namely. Having all these one must not be like a self declared righteous person . Because something is still missing . And one of them is the heart
Which may not have been opened yet .
Marvellous Quran has organised three steps orderly and explained clearly to the way to The Picture . Marvellous works. Enlightening.

Salaam Dr Hany...@ around 7:00 you translate Eilm as knowledge here in the ayat al- kursi. Where as in your latest vlog Eilm is equate to evidence. Sorry I could hv miss your other vlog that might explain the difference

    • @MarvelousQuran
      @MarvelousQuran  3 роки тому +3

Yes of course... All knowledge belongs to Allahh. But knowledge (3ilm) according to the Quran is knowledge with evidence. Sometimes, when the presentation is focused on something else (as in this video), I use the word knowledge (and don't mention evidence) to avoid distraction. But in that video, (link here ua-cam.com/video/4Zk5VCcXZl4/v-deo.html) I was discussing the verb "Li-ya3lam Allahh", where Allahh is the subject of the verb "Ya3lam". There the focus is on translating the verb "Ya3lam" correctly, as I explained, meaning to provide evidence

Asalamualaikum Dr Hany. You might want to review this episode some future time for improvements. I would like to comment on one of your statements, that this Quran will lead those astray who seek to look into the Quran to attack Islam. I was a Buddhist & a Christian, although back then deep in my heart I had a personal understanding that there must be a supreme being over the faiths that I followed superficially. As a non Muslim back then, I was anti Muslim and wanted to “attack” or “discredit” the Muslims I know and was of the view that the best way was through the Quran that Muslims adhered to.
When I opened the “Book/Quran” and read; I found the “Supreme” or “Oneness” (Qul wa Allah Hu Ahad) that I been seeking & I became a revert. (SubuhanAllah)
I believe many other recent reverts in Europe that were once radically anti Islam until they have the courage or the guidance to open up the Quran to read.

This is fascinating! Could it be possible that the “covering” of the heart could also be heart incoherence-when the neurons are firing out of order and it’s beating out of rhythm from a state of survival? And since when we’re in a state of survival, we hyper focus on self preservation and if we continue to live from there our actions become more selfish and the voice of our ego is louder than the voice of Allah because we’re so addicted to the survival chemicals and consider that “normal”-thus not receiving the Divine guidance properly? And if heart incoherence can create brain incoherence and vice versa, it might make sense to learn how to practice self regulating our emotions and nervous systems (via breath work, prayer, meditation), so that our brains and hearts are returned back to coherence and balance and thus allowing us to properly receive the guidance of Allah. 🤔 That’s just something that came through me as I watched this. 😁
