This is uplifting at first but then leads into an unsettling saddened tone, "Bittersweet" perfectly describes this, I absolutely love this Solunary.
"Humanity has overcome this ordeal but at what cost? Were the sacrifices they've made, the betrayal they inflicted upon their own kind worth it to reach the light. I pray that they will be able to rebuild and regain what was lost to this tragedy."

not gonna lie, I listen to this on repeat. The emotions I have attached to this piece of work is unexplainable but so relatable.

When you're in the apocalypse and you're all alone, except for all the animals around you
The places you once went to as a kid, is now nothing but abandoned rusty vegetation. Mixed feelings are going in your mind, but this world different from the past makes you forget that
    It's all a dying memory

You gaze with awe upon the rubble as Jasmine points to all the cars, however wrecked.
“I know red ones, white ones, there are so many...”
You always keep your wits about you, well aware if the shadows of the buildings grow too long, the Huntsmen might come. They have had better years, though the deer that repopulated the city of Spi had repopulated it, they were getting scarce...
A snap of twigs to your left, and you turn to face one of the mutants that were becoming increasingly frequent. A fawn, not even a few hours old, left rolling on the ground. It was hideously deformed, it’s hind legs fused, and a second snout growing from its first. You would have killed it for food, but doubtless the Huntsmen would notice the column of smoke from a fire and be here soon, so you leave it to suffer in the agony of its own existence until the Huntsmen find it and kill it.
“Jasmine!” you call in a hushed tone, “be more quiet!”
    “Sorry...”
And with that, you continue your journey...

For those curious as to why that kid's enjoying herself in the ruins of a once-bustling city:
That looks to be generations after the end. Decades after the city went silent. That kid probably never experienced society as it was. Forced to rummage through the detritus of a fallen civilization. That moment of carelessness, of being a kid.. That's probably the only time she'll be able to experience it for months, if not years.
Let's just let the kid enjoy herself. Mmmmkaaayyy?

You wake up. Everything around you looks alive and well but it was silent. You see that there is a path near you as you get up and follow it. After reaching the end of the path you find yourself in a destroyed city like area. "What happened here....?" "Where am I.....?" You think to yourself as you call out for anyone to hear. Silence is all you receive.

Seriously, this is really good. Found you through your Undertale original songs (and found those through you know what two remixes of them) but seriously, this is really good, and sad it has so few views. Your really talented. Keep up the good work. :D

@@solunary That's just it. There's a hidden beauty to post-apocalyptic scenes. Unfortunately, with the almost constant presence of bandits, natural predators, and the potential monstrosities of radiation, one's odds of making it past 40 years old are slim to none. BUT, that doesn't mean that, once the end comes, you can't enjoy the new beginning peacefully roaming the wastes.
But yeah, I feel ya. TheLastOfUs 1&2 really hit the nail on the head when it comes to the beauty of dead cities....
      Here's a quote:
"When the lights go out forever...
When trends go out of style for the last time...
      When humanity leaves this earth...
      Life will go on..."
      - Yours Truly

      @@timothybanks5251 yes i agree
idk why but i fell in love with these type of scenarios, even though alot of people would suffer
i cant help but say, my original stories im writing are all based in an apocalyptic world that look sort of like the last of us, just i have something that replaces the clickers/zombies or whatever people call them. they arent aliens but they definitely are not people.

    • @timothybanks5251
      @timothybanks5251 3 роки тому +1

@@solunary Ah. My ideal apocalypse would be one cause by more political means. In my ideal apocalypse, an injection would be release to the general public during a time when global tensions are at an all time high. This injection would be directed at the furry/scalie communities, and turn these humans into their 'sonas. Riots and civil unrest would unfold as a rights movement would pop off. Especially since people aren't very welcoming of us furries/scalies (I'm a scalie). Eventually, society would just collapse. No nukes. No wars with other countries. People would just cower in their homes. Waiting for the inevitable. While at the same time hoping, praying the rioters don't reach home. When the end does come, The Looters take over the now-quiet cities. Anarchy reigns supreme. While the furries/scalies mostly take to the countryside. Fast forward a couple decades, the anarchists have all but fallen apart. And the furries/scalies are left to rebuild over decades, if not centuries. A rather primal fresh start on society.
To be honest, it sort of feels like the end is near... BUT, even if it is... Every end is a beginning.
